Piskie always uses Spurs to help himself feel better about Arsenal.Wenger does the same by glorifying finishing 4th to keep the attention away from challenging seriously at the top. Some buy into it.
We can talk about Spurs all we want, but fact of the matter is, they were not expected to be challenging for the title. We, on the other hand, were expected to be challenging for the title, which effectively ended about two months ago. That they were the only team to take it this far against Leicester is a damning indictment on us and the rest of the rich clubs. It was Pochettino's second full season and they'd purchased a bunch of young players who no-one in their wildest dreams figured would light up the Prem in the way they have done. Yeah they've had some iffy results at times, but they've looked like the complete outfit. Can the same seriously be said about us? Who had the most settled squad and the most experienced manager in the division? Being 2 points behind Spurs is bad enough as it is. Having gone 7 points clear of them in January, we should gone on to win the league and we crumbled through pretty much every single hurdle that came our way. Spurs had too many draws at the beginning of the season which is what has ended up costing them the title, in my view. But at the start of the season, if someone told you Leicester and Spurs would be occupying the top two positions in the league, you would get absolute rinsed for saying so! That is why Spurs can be proud of their season irrespective of where they finish and we can't.
But this is where all the frustration has occured. For us to be 2 points away from the supposed challengers for the title is a bitter pill to take, when you think we could have been leading or challenging Leicester.
It's not a disastrous season, but it is another one of underachievement and bottle jobs, as much as Piskie will like your comment and to put a spin on it.
I don't disagree, and overall it's a disappointing season, given that we could have been out in front by now. But it is what it is, so we have to try and catch the team in front of us. The fact that it's Spurs adds a bit of spice, because if we do haul them in, then for all the jizz being thrown around about them, they still won't have done any better than us, despite us having a bit of a mare. Scant consolation I know, but it the reality of the situation as it is.
The last protest by the entitled few - September 2015. please log in to view this image Take the hint and realise that you are a pathetic minority of fairweather twats and keep quiet from now on. Thanks
Protests and speaking out will continue, as much as it pains you Wengerite ass kissers, do please piss off with him when he leaves.
Typical Wengerite, they're the ones who always get abusive-violent etc, and then take the high moral ground.
One things for sure, we don't need a striker in the summer because I've just seen this: Danny Welbeck has equalled his Premier League goal tally from last season for Arsenal (4). #nooutfieldplayersneededthanks
There's only one Danny Welbeck. TBH I'd keep him as back up, and get rid of Giroud. Giroud needs to goooooooooo.
Protests? LMFAO!!! Yesterday's comical effort and the last attempt in September 2015 has showed you up for the mugs that you are. Run along now, there's a good boy
The only mugs are the idiots who still support Wenger, keep singing his name while we keep bottling it, Leicester fighting to win the title today, and us? Fighting to make top 4 again, and that's who you idiots are all singing and praising for? Fact is the protest may not have been big, but there's still a big movement against Wenger as witnessed by the thousands of empty seats, only 43k seats attended for the West Brom game, and to mention the big choruses of boos. It will soon come to pass when your god Wenger ****s off, and then you can **** off along with him too, because it's been him and fake fans like you holding this club back.
Wengerites: Fans of Arsene FC Arsenal supporters: Fans of Arsenal FC There is a difference between the two. Fact, Wengerites are not supporters of the later, just blind cultist followers of the former. Piss off with him.
If Wenger's supporters were to piss off,Arsenal would be playing in a less than half full stadium every week. This is just an observation of mine after attending the game yesterday and seeing the protest and the reaction to it
Many of you are assuming that those who didnt take part in the protest are pro Wenger, when the simple case is that many of them are indeed anti-Wenger but simply chose not to take part, or didnt know about the protest, or didnt know from where to get a banner, and a number of other reasons.
