For me I am surprised that the Norwich player did not get a yellow when he gave away the penalty. That is a deliberate foul, you pretty much have to card him. Whoeer the defender was, he let his team down badly. There is a little tug on a shirt and that is one thing, but that was a sustained pull. Houghton can rave all he likes, if any of the three officials see that the ref pretty much has to give it. Way to much and for too long.

I don't know. You got handed a goal by the ref when you scored your goal after haveng 0 shots on or off goal all the first half. You then make two fairly decent attemts to give away a penlalty which the referee ignores. On the third attempt you have a defender pull a striker over backwards by his shirt in front of the ref, and the only reason you complain about it is because the referee didn't see it, but it was so blindingly obvious the assistant saw it from 30 yards away. You spent almost all the second half trying to waste time and made no attempt to play football at any point in the game. The only thing you had going for you was a myopic commentator who didn't have enough of a clue to point out what a crap team you have. Afterwards your manager did not have the class to admit that his team was well beaten by the better side, after showing a distinct lack of sportsmanship from the first whistle. Having got the best of the referees calls all game, when you get a couple against you, then you start complaining. Wait until you get a ref really calling against you like we get most weeks! You want us to learn some humility? **** off!

Sorry mate, but if you come onto an Arsenal board expecting some kind of sympathy for a ref making a couple of calls against you, you that's what you get. On balance I think the ref made a pretty even mess of it. Unusual for our games, but there you go.

I wasn't expecting sympathy, I just thought maybe some considered appraisal of the game. All I got was 'they shag their cousins' and similar. Disappointing, that's all, though at least your reply was reasonable. I've always liked the Arsenal way, compared to say, teams that spend beyond their means. I think you have GOT a fair appraisal of the game . There were LOTS of crap decisions. But be honest , you sat back on your one goal lead . Cant blame anyone else for that but yourselves. Against the Arsenal ? at what 60 mins ................no chance .

One positive about Tuesday's game is I think we have the better squad to be able to deal with a midweek game, not to mention Everton get one day's less rest, they literally only get 1 day rest, so hopefully that slightly works in our favour. And I believe the likes of Walcott, Podolski, and Monreal will all be starting, so we will have some fresh legs out there too.
Arsenal & Everton both kick off at 3-00pm on a Saturday and then they both play again on a Tuesday but Everton get one days less rest.There is a Sunday & Monday between Saturday & Tuesday but Everton literally only get one days rest
You all seem to think that was penalty for shirt pulling ( even though it was a goal kick that led to it) whats your opinion of the shirt pull on Bassong for the 2nd goal? If the penalty is given then surely that must be a free kick? Or like your manager did you not see that? All four goals were debatable, sagna was lucky to stay on the pitch putting his studs into johnsons thigh after being booked. You whinge about time wasting, truly pathetic, every team would do the same in that position.
