Gent just leave it mate... The hole is already big enough for you to jump in your just being silly now.
If Theo wants 100k, just give it to him. Since he's become a CF, we've won 3 straight PL games (and a 4th before him being a CF). He was awesome against reading, he won us the (admittedly dodgy) penalty against whoever we played last week, and he was great today. Therefore, i conclude 1 thing: Theo Walcott is a Striker
The thing about this attacking performance was that Cazorla was not anywhere near his best and we could have still scored 10 or more.
Cheers for that one lads, sorry we couldn't reciprocate. Been ill all afternoon, and now feel remarkably jovial
We've got more chance of staying in the Premier League than Walcott signing a new contract! He wants to win trophies, and he won't do that at Arsenal. You can't even beat Bradistan.
No I asked that genuinely. It seems at least I'm able to articulate what I think his positives and negatives are (and why I think his negatives outweigh positives against most opponents we will face), the people attacking me have a "1.complete **** or 2. super awesome" way of rating players, and assume I put Walcott in the first. You can check my post from ages ago where I say Walcott does well against teams with shambolic defending on the day, and snowball games.
but without walcott we would still be in the premiership. Whereas you have NO chance of making it with the big teams. tick tick tick .
Even from 20 minutes play you can see why Giroud should play in the middle. What Walcott does he can do from the wings as well. You're losing potential just to accommodate the wishes of a player.
But they just hammered a Newcastle team that dominated WPR? I, like all supporters of other teams, have no problem wumming for a laugh, and certainly have given my arsenal workmates and friends a lot of grief, but to base the team off of one awful result is the mark of a fool. Personally I highly rate Theo Walcott and would of liked it if he came to Liverpool but after the last 4 games it seems he's proven he can be upfront for Arsenal so he's gonna get a new contract.
The player in question was involved in 5 goals today. No offence to Giroud, he's been a good signing, but on current form, Theo deserves to start over him.
