We weren't being overrun in midfield and we were comfortable for the whole game. Whereas in this one our passing is slow, players aren't doing their job and we've provided no real threat in the final third. It's been a pretty awful display.
Trying to throw it away in typical Arsenal fashion, these players are gutless, we can talk them up all we want, they don't even deserve to tie the shoelaces of the previous Arsenal title winning sides, those sides at least had character, will, urgency, time and time again we have seen it with this ****ing Arsenal team where they don't even bother turning up, because they're not even trying, just playing lazy, and doing **** all.
That's putting it mildly,Newcastle players probably can't believe how comfortable that first half was.No pressure on the ball and our midfield is no where to be seen.
0-0. HT. That was pretty disgraceful, to be honest with you. This is a game that you would think would be a home banker and we just haven't looked up for it at all. I'm beginning to question whether these players have the stomach for the fight because this has been just as bad as the Southampton game, Newcastle just don't have the quality to punish us. Ramsey and Flamini have been meandering out of position, leaving us very exposed in midfield. No cohesion in the middle and the back four have had no protection. Walcott has been rubbish, Giroud has been isolated but has been bullied off the ball too easily. Sloppy passing, no urgency to our game and no real threat up front. We're actually lucky to be going in level because if Newcastle went into HT leading the game, I don't think we can have any complaints. Pathetic from a side that's top of the league.
Newcastle are playing far better than their position suggests. Entire offense has been dire and looked tired. Need to make personnel and tactical changes.
We are going to get destroyed by Liverpool and Stoke if we play anything like we have in the past week, we were **** against Southampton, we are **** today, and we were **** until we scored against Bournemouth, we have been miserable this week.
Commentator said that Oxo didn't record a league goal or assist in the whole of 2015. If that's true, that's insane. How long do we wait for him to come good?!
Mertesacker has actually been too slow with the ball at his feet. He wants to take too many touches before he passes it which slows us down. I'd consider putting on Gabriel who is light on his feet and a better passer of the ball.
Both him and Glass Knees have had enough time to come good for you guys, I wonder why they're persisted with?
