To those commenting about Ryo playing.The far- eastern tour is all about publicity and money,the club would be the first to admit that.Why else do you think us,Man Utd,Chelsea and Liverpool are all in the far-east & Australia ?.Ryo is a Japanese lad and we are playing a Japanese team,Big ****ing deal

 

I like Ryo, he is one of my favourite youngsters at the club. I watched a lot of him in Holland and he is a talented kid. He also did well at Bolton and at one point was the Bolton player creating the most goal scoring opportunities per game.

Last season he struggled with injuries and didn't manage to get much game time at Wigan and overall it was a rubbish loan. Hopefully this season he will get back on track. I can see him making it as a squad player for us, he is very quick, tricky and direct - good player.

That said its obviously got some commercial aspect why he is playing in Japan lol
