It's a big game for oxocube as well. He has had limited opportunities to impress since Walcott returned from injury so he will want to do well while Walcott is ruled out. He needs to show he is good enough to take on that responsibility of adding width and pace, especially when Podolski is on the other wing. He's still young so i have no doubt he will do very well with us, but at the moment i think Walcott is clearly the better player.
There's not much point for Montpellier to put out a full-strength team, nor any incentive to go for the win. It's a nothing game for them, which should help Arsenal no-end. I'm listening to the game on Arsenal Player but not watching it.
They still have dangerous players, I don't expect them to roll over. At the moment we've been very sloppy and let them settle.
Right, just home from work. Been battling with commissioning managers trying to work out the best way to divide up essential NHS services, so that they can flog them off to the private sector. Heartless bastards . . anyway, glass of wine and settle in for the game now How have we started ?
I think we look a bit bunched. We're either all in DF or all in attack. We need to keep our shape a bit better and work the ball out from the back.
