Those who say we played well and were unfortunate not to win would do well to thank the goalie cause he had a blinder tonight. We could have lost.

Wow - Not only strange but an unusual fetish for putting a bold 'u'.

Giroud had no support. Even Wilshere was having a go at the others for not pushing on.

As for the season as a whole, we got to win our next three league games (Sunderland,Stoke and Swansea) to even be in the title race heading into those games against City,Chelsea,Spurs and Everton.

Oh, so that's why Giroud missed 3 or 4 sitters. Because he had no support. It all makes sense now.

    had NO support .

A true goal scorer like TH14 , or Drogba MAKE things happen , the dont just stand there and wait for it to fall at their feet.

He is the laziest bastard i have ever seen .

He wont move ONE yard to reclaim a ball .

    Not one yard.

and the bold U , if you dont put it in bold it gets censored <doh>

Absolute rubbish, didn't seem like we wanted to win it at all, can't believe the lack of pace in the side we put out though, chamberlain should of started with wilshere dropped, but I guess everything seems simple in hindsight...
Ozil showed the kind of play that we expected when he came over, brilliant game today, shame about everyone else. Honestly think Sanogo would have offered more of a goal threat than Giroud today though, Girouds hold up play was as good as ever, but when we don't have ramsey or walcott in the side, we have almost zero attacking threat (the exception being Cazorla), which is fine, unless they're both injured at the same time. At least (from what we've heard anyway), sanogo might have gone for the runs which ozil could have picked out.
Was I the only one to think that Vidic's push on Giroud was as cynical as it gets though? The commentators didn't seem to say anything about it, but it looked blatant to me.

Only saw the last few mins of the first half and the second half. From what i saw we dominated the game but couldn't quite finish anything off, we created more chances than Utd, the better chances and controlled posession. So annoyed we didn't get the win though, Utd are there for the taking at the moment.

Thought Ozil and Cazorla were our best players in that second half. Kosc and Mert also looked comfortable against Rooney and RVP. I also thought Wilshere played well today. A couple of great moments from our young pole in goal, he has won us a lot of points this season.

This leaves us 1 point off the title so it's not the end of the world. With the way the league is going and all 3 of the title contenders having the odd slip up the games between the 3 could become real title deciding games and staying within a point or two of the top is important.

The title race is still very much on but we need to up our game. Flaminis back from our next game which will be a lift. We need oxocube or Gnabry to really come into their own in the last 10-15 games of the season to give us some pace to our attack. Could do with Ramsey back in the team as well.

Yet he tracked back and won the ball a few times. Strange logic.

He did not receive 1 clear cut chance. Several half chances from crosses. Sagna's low cross was the best but he couldn't reach it.

Who else threatened apart from Wilshere?

Santi, Ozil, Rosicky? Did they go close? What did the Ox do? Nothing.

Blame Giroud if you like, he is an easy target for the likes of some of you, just like Ramsey used to be. But the real trouble was that no-one helped threaten the Mancs defense, despite lot's of passing around and in Ozil's case showboating, except possibly SJW.

Quite simply because he is not very good up front on his own.

How is several half-chances in a game bad? Where is this mythical striker in modern football that gets 5 one-on-one chances with the keeper to get a goal?

At least 3 of those chances were barely challenged by ManU defenders.

There's nothing we can really do to change the team round for upcoming games. Sunderland are going to fancy their chances having seen our recent performances

Who would you have taken off for him? Ozil and Cazorla where the only ones who looked like they might make something happen other than Sagna. And we needed to get oxocube on for his pace. Sowho would you have taken off? Podolski has hardly covered himself in glory playing through the centre for us so not sure he's agreat shout to come on against Utd.
