Where were the substitutions? You have a team, and they're clearly knackered, so you make ONE substitution?? Get some fresh legs on for the last 15 mins and TRY TO WIN IT!!
Fear got the better of us sadly. Despite that if had a proper forward we could have still won this. Giroud is just tragic in these games.
Hold play is always good but his insistence on passing in the box is infuriating!! The guy just DOES NOT want to shoot. Ive been defending him all Season but Im sick of this ****ing style of play. This team could be soo much better with a little more urgency. Ramsey Walcott and Carzorla are the only three players we have who are willing to shoot outside the box. Not a good situation considering only Carzorla is fit.
Thought Ozil was terrific tonight. Absolutely top class. Still think you are hard on Giroud, he was in the trenches and I doubt a smaller man would have even got a touch on those passes. He was far more of a threat than RVP was all night, or Rooney. So if you think Giroud was Bad RVP and Rooney were non-league standard, and don't get me started about Mata. Moyes has United playing like Everton now. Difficult to break down, but with very little going forward. They are always going to get a few 0-0 draws. That was not awful, we just totally dominated the champions and made them play like a team struggling to avoid relegation.
Never looked interested in winning at all. Even when United were far better, we still found ways to beat them, and other top sides with teams we had in the past. Not any more!
We were by far the better team. Giroud had zero support, so harsh to blame him. Man U came and played like Palace. In fact I would say that Palace played better. It's always tough to beat teams with 10 men constantly behind the ball and packing the middle. Their only game plan was try to hit us on the break. Giroud and Wilshere were 2 of us better players. Alongside the defense of course. Santi, not involved enough, same with Ozil. Rosicky and Arteta gave the ball away too much. Oxo (as is normally the case) did **** all. But, yeah - Giroud is an easy scape goat.
fuck right off. FULHAM got a point off them at THEIR OWN GAFF . one would hope we could do a bit more right ????
West Brom did that. Fulham did that. Spurs did that. Everton did that. Newcastle did that. Yet Arsenal didn't manage to score a single goal over 180 minutes. Bottled it again, like we always do against them.
He had at least 4-5 excellent crosses come to him where he was barely challenged by their defenders and produced the most pathetic attempts imaginable. And "plan B deficient" Wenger means if it isn't clicking against that particular opposition, you can pretty much whack at it all day without much difference.
Teams play like that because that's how easy it is to stop our play. No variation in attack, we can only do one thing. RVP was far more threatening than Giroud, no idea what you're talking about.
WHAT the actual fuck ? up the medication . If we cant beat THIS sh1t utd side , at home , , create NOTHING , then we deserve nothing. fact
You can't be ****ing serious. If RvP was on the end of just one of the excellent crosses Giroud was served, we would be at least 3-0 down. Stop being a parody of yourself ****'s sake, it looks so forced.
