Champion response from us. Not only did they come back from a poor mid-week result but we clinically beat one of our main competitors.

Now let's hope we keep this consistency up <ok>

That was just brilliant, just had a funny feeling about today. Alexis and Ozil delivered when it most mattered today, both were top class.

Also Bellerin was unreal, proved today that he is probably the best young Right back in the world.

So just got home, that was great, we blew them out of the water in the first half.

Ozil must have read my post about him needing to perform, and boy did he, an assist and a goal.

And Sanchez, my oh my, a ****ing JOKE that Hazard was ever declared a better player than him.

On that form Sanchez is pretty much unplayable.

Was impressed by Walcott today also. He showed real fight and desire, was constantly running and pulling defenders out of position.

Also Ozil had one of his best Arsenal performances. He looked a class act.

Just seen motd - some breathtaking attacking play and some great interchanging between ozil, Walcott and Sanchez.

There was a bit of dissonance between the comments on here and the motd coverage as the motd coverage showed a lot of things Rooney did well, and the pundits didn't mention him at all in a negative or positive light.

Yup its funny I've barely seen any praise for Bellerin in the British press. If he was English you can bet they would be raving about him every week.

If he was English he'd be challenging Ronaldo/messi for best player in the world and worth £60m lol

I keep on saying, Rooney is untouchable to the British pundits. It's so blatantly obvious. If he wasn't England's golden boy he would've been slaughtered today. What a joke.

Just look at how Balotelli got slaughtered last season.

Long may it continue imo. Sick of seeing young players getting scrutinized 24/7. Leave the lad alone I say.

Thank god we have AW managing the team...you know, the same guy that is responsible when we play badly :)

Having suffered so little success against United in the past decade, AW obviously wanted this win more than any so far this season and thus having motivated the players properly, this was the result. Well done to you guys!!

I can't work if this is genuine and a staunch defence of AW... or a pi55-take and an anti-AW post?

    wow what a start yesterday.

I know the right thing to do was play it tight after going 3 up but had the players still played at 3 0 with the same mentality of 0 0 you lot could have probably scored the PL record goals in a game, that's how much you blew United away yesterday and the only reason they came into the game a little more was absolutely because Arsenal actually decided to tighten it up and close the space.

mature performance, like the City win. Now if Wenger could get them to do that almost every week... <whistle>

If ye are champions stock this will be a catalyst, if ye play ****e in the next game, then ye are not

This pretty much sums it up. Can we play consistently over the course of the season. We've shown that we can beat the big boys, but can we stop random sh1t results from appearing, like the Olympikos one. If these guys can not drop their standard sharply, then we are in for a shout of winning the Prem.
