Happy to get a point but 6 points from 4 games isn't good enough. And we've conceded a lot of silly goals.

Yes, because how many games have we played against the top 3 sides and failed to win? Madrid, Barca, Bayern, don't always win the big ones, but they do win more than they don't. Our record has been woeful against the big sides, we fail to win again.
Going forward, that was a massive improvement from last season in terms of our performance against the bigger sides. The added pace showing already. Wilshere was class. The injury to Debucy is a killer though. Knew going into the season with six defenders would bite us in the ass. Awful planning from Wenger.
So we could go 6 behind Chelsea today, but hey today is a 'good point' after failing to win 3 games in a row, it's a good point, lol.
Btw they did a stat today, out of a possible 90 points against the big sides, we've only collected 27, now make it 28...Some people obviously don't like to look at the bigger picture, failure to win today is just part of the same old story, failure to win the big sides, so forgive me for not being satisfied with failing to win again. Only Arsenal fans sadly can be satisfied with failure to beat a big side AGAIN, and getting a point...Standards have dropped.
very true , but a positive today was the way we set up . That seemed to work very well . If the players had kept concentration , we would have 3 points in the bag . second half we played well . When Jack started to play the ball quicker instead of running into dead ends. the next few games we will see the true measure of where we are .
Villa is a must win obviously, still wouldn't be surprised though to see some on here saying oh well it's a good point if we fail to win. lol.
Bit harsh mate . We arent happy with it , well im not , but it could have been a sh1t lot worse. Last season we shipped 6 goals to that team . They have one of the strongest squads in europe. Yet one of their goals was only down to our lack of concentration . We have a way to go but , we are stronger than we were i think. Sanchez in the dogs bollocks when it comes to backbone.
Oh and Sanchez has some engine. Non-stop and he reminds of Tevez and Suarez in terms of that manic work rate.
When you accept that they're a better team than us and we're not realistically challenging for the league this season, yes we should be satisfied. The comedy defending is a worry though
We shipped 6 goals away from home, we did play them again since then, 1-1 at the Emirates, so if we look it at that way, we've conceded one more goal against them at home, than we did last year. We lost the 2nd goal due to lack of concentration, how many times have we been there before? Today's game shows we are good, but not good enough, over 90 minutes at least.
We survived but dropped points at the same time. Was disappointed with Ozil and tbh Ramsey was poor too, should have buried that wonder pass by Ramsey. Flamini was dire, I'd have played Arteta and Gibbs probably would have been better suited to deal with Navas' pace. That Debuchy injury unsettled us greatly and we miss Giroud's height dealing with corners. All in all a decent point, would have looked better had we beaten Leicester but we put in a good shift today. Let's take it to Dortmund then beat Villa.
