The problem is that Wenger will say that he is happy with the squad and we don't need to bring anyone new in. Obviously we don't have any targets otherwise we'd be doing our business now already. Instead we'll be scrabbling around in the final hours of the window looking to bring in anybody just to appease the fans and the SHAREHOLDERS
I wouldn't be surprised if Wilshere picked up an injury or two during today's game. They kicked him around all day.
Oh this is going to be real fun now with Arteta out for 3 weeks. And the wheels are slowly coming off, though truth be told, the wheels were off a long time ago.
We played the majority of this game 10 vs 11, against a very good City side. We have another big midweek cup game against another good footballing side. Then away to Chelsea, who will have had a weeks rest. Then after Chelsea it's West Ham at home, followed by a cup away game (that's if we make it), followed by Liverpool at home in midweek, oh my my this should be fun with some injuries and an already tired squad. The fact we haven't already brought 1 new face in, with all these games coming up, shows how clueless Wenger is becoming. The blind blinker in Wenger we trust brigade, shall have no excuses if Wenger doesn't make any signings.
I see A87 has been banned... Also, with Arteta out, we now have to rely on Diaby. That's a scary thought.
Only temporary. Just some time for him to cool off like we gave him before, probably for his own good. He will be back on Tuesday.
Instead of landing Ba , we are now facing Ba . It wont be pretty. Isnt he second in goals only to Judas, ?
good , there has to be a counter to afcftw and his ridiculous religious optimism . There has to be balance in the force. Yoda said so .
Loads of comments on this match thread, have not looked back, clearly some words have been exchanged between you guys. Obviously, A87 telling people to suck his cock is going OTT. The sad thing he is right more often than not because of the way we have declined. But, as I have told him before, he really needs to learn how to articulate his arguments and learn to cut out the abuse.
"But we were too timid and did not have enough authority on the game. We let them dictate the game to us and when we went 1-0 down it was difficult." What a difference having a midfield of Diaby, M'Vila & Jack could have made. A bit of physical presence perhaps?

i have a lot of time for Diaby for one reason . Although he made a few silly mistakes today , who didnt ? He adds something of the OLD Arsenal in his play . He pick up the ball and RUNS AT defences , normally we will try and pass it around defences ad infinitum but he seems to have the presence to go THROUGH them. They all seem to know we will never just shoot , so if they hold their positions we will eventually make a bad pass and they get possession back. If his piercing runs come off , or he can lay it off to a striker , that adds a lot. Gives opponents something to worry about.
