lol when you have some fools saying that the first half was " Not Bad " What do you expect . Optimism is great but , blind optimism is ridiculous. This year it is going to be blatantly obvious to ALL , that it is misplaced.
It's good to see we're starting to get a clique here that believe OXO doesn't know much about football. :-D We are not alone, we are growing.
Actually I don't think we played badly at all. We just got screwed by the ref. Wilshere was superb in the second half. Giroud and Ramsey both worked hard when they came on. Saying that though if we had a TOP class CF I think we would have scored at least one.
I don't think Kompany's challenge was worthy of a red card tbh. He won the ball fair and square. There is a matter of 'if he had got Wilshire and not the ball then Wilshire could have been badly injured' but he didn't. He got the ball. I do think Koscielny should have gone though. He was last man and took Dzeko down so I don't know Arsenal have more right to be aggrieved than City tbh. Should be a good game against us next week. I think you'll beat us at the Bridge...
21 points behind United, ****ers can say anything they like to put a positive PR spin on Arsenal, but that alone should shut their traps. This club is regressing season by season, the gap between us and the top is the proof in the pudding. The fact we pay some of the highest tickets in the land is the biggest ****ing joke ever. Paying to watch a team sitting in 6th place, and scrapping for that 4th place invisible trophy.
I really do fear that this is the season we drop put, especially if we don't strengthen this month. Today showed we need at least 1 more midfielder, and a better striker.
Working hard is the minimum I expect from all our players. Giroud was actually pretty **** when he came on. He failed to hold the ball up and missed a very good chance. Disappointed by him and again reinforces the view, that we need a new ****ing forward.
Poor result. We where much better in the second half and as soon as it went 10vs10 we dominated the game. Walcott beat the keeper but had it stopped by lescott, that could easily have been a goal, Giroud had a couple of chances as well. I'd hoped we would at least get a goal back so we don't effect our GD too much. We need to be better against Chelsea. I think we will be after the way todays game went. I think the team looked confident of getting something back at the end and they will think they can take the game to Chelsea. I hope we didn't pick up any little injuries today as we will need a fit first team and subs to get a result at SB. Wilshere was the best player in midfield for either team and was taken out repeatedly to stop him opening city up. Ramsey was good when he came on as well. Cazorla looked tired towards the end of the game and i think the extra running while down to 10-men took its toll on him. Rosicky needs to start impressing in training so he can get some game time and rest Cazorla. The defense where sloppy for cities goals but for the rest of the game city never looked like they would break through our defense to me. They had the Tevez chance on the counter but the keeper and defense smothered him off the ball. If it had remained 11vs11 the whole game who knows how it would have gone but we gave away silly goals so can only blame ourselves. Overall we needed to be better but where not as bad as im sure we will be made out to be.
Strange game. Wilshere, Sagna and Szczesny were superb.... rest were pretty dire although Pod did well when he was on, and Ramsey acquitted himself well.
Doesn't matter, it was a dangerous tackle with excessive force. It was at least a yellow card. That was about the only thing he got right. And it wasn't just the Kos red either All through the game, Dein let numerous petulant tackles on Wilshere go, he let pushes on Podolski and Giroud go, yet he pulled up Arsenal players for anything similar. He had a **** game and basically ruined it after 11 minutes.
Yeah, we're not as bad as it's made out to be, 21 points behind United, no, not at all bad as people will make it out to be. LOL.
