My man of the match has to go to Song, battled throughout and created chances, really added some steel to the midfield.

Also great play by Sagna, he defended well and got forward well. Arteta once again shows his talent with a great strike.

Also, Nasri did nothing all game apart from one decent cross, great we sold him when we did. We don't need him.

We played really well today and a great result! Arteta's goal was awesome, Song was awesome, the only issue for us is the left wing really. Benayoun wasn't great and the only thing Ramsey had time to do was miss a sitter, so that needs to be addressed come summer. A great performance from us overall though, I'm glad that prick Balotelli got sent off, albeit about an hour late.

Well deserved win forus today, we thoroughly outplayed them, and should have scored more than 1. My motm is Vermaelen, assured at the back, and made city's expensive strikers look average.

the roubles did their job in buying the ref yesterday....we cant really put that down to footballing matters can we<doh>

get some more Andrex whilst your at it..the brown nosing you have been doing with the Arsenal is quite amusing since you think you have a right to top 4....and the bloody bullies are threatening to reshuffle the pack<laugh>

We should have played with this level of spirit last week. That would have given us the cushion over Spuds and Chavs. As it is we still have to take each match as it comes and hope for 3 points every game.

You're right we should have scored more today as well so I hope little things like that won't cost us come mid-May. I hope it won't cost RvP his golden boot either.

Now we're going to be missing Kos for the next 2 games. Had the blind man in the black shirt sent off Balotelli in the first half, who knows what might have happened?
 
Yeah, a hat trick would have put Rooney out of the running for that boot too.

TBH I don't blame Ramsey so much. I know who's trying hard and wanted to make something of a difficult season. He's still young and was thrust into this position early in his career. I hope he finds more confidence but it's a shame RvP missed out on chances today. An assist would have been worth more to Aaron than a missed shot and a missed chance for RvP and the team.
