Pepe is mighty infuriating. You know he's going to cut in and shoot on his left, as skillfull as he is - its all really easy to defend against. I also dont like Cedrick and White together - that side will be quite vulnerable in the air.
2-0. FT. Didn’t watch the game as I’ve just arrived in Alicante, but from what I’ve read, we deserved to win and although we didn’t play well, we were better than Leeds. Glad to be in the hat for the next round Hopefully White’s injury isn’t too serious as he’s been an important player for us.
Yeah we should sell - although I reckon if Klopp had him he would be scoring 20+ a Season. Talent is crazy high but his decision making is awful.
I don’t blame you for fancying your chances, but equally, this is the best case scenario for us too. I fully expect us to win, but in a cup game, who knows?
Exactly, we are full of confidence and I doubt either team will be at full strength so nothing guaranteed. I just think under Arteta this is exactly the kind of game that could trip you up.
I’ll be honest. I’d be very disappointed if we got complacent and lost at home to a League One side, even if you are high on confidence. Arsenal have a rich history in the FA Cup, but the League Cup? Not so much. We’ve not won it since 1993 and I wasn’t even born then So this represents a great chance to potentially win a competition we don’t historically do well in. May the best side win
