I cant see him starting for awhile and imagine itll be a few weeks before hes anywhere near his best.

Apparently hes playing an u21s game on Friday which rules him out of the Hull game completely.

Hopefully people don't expect too much - look at falcao. Similar problem and he came back early this summer and still not up to his best. Let's ease Walcott into it...

Rumors are AW wants to give him a role n the bench here. I'd save that for in case we are cruising in the CL game. I don't think it'll take him that long to find his feet but he shouldn't be rushed or expected to be ripping teams apart straight away. We have Oxo and Sanchez who can suffice in the mean time.
EDIT: Nevermind, AW said he won't feature.

I'm glad hes not on the bench, as you say we've got other players we can use, and he should be given time. Otherwise he won't have the mobility/flexibility to avoid challenges and will get injured again

Might be a chance to start with -

    ----------Welbeck----------
    Oxo----Cazorla----Sanchez

And then bring on Campbell if we're winning instead of Oxo!

My God! I've just looked at the PhysioRooms table and they have Kos down as injured until next week, the same with Ospina, but that Ramsey and Arteta could be back by Monday and Sat respectively.

It says we've got 9 players out injured, and it doesn't even include Walcott, Gnarby or Rosicky - What's happening to our players!

It's either madness or PhysioRooms isn't accurate

Very bad news today is that Koscielny is out for this one (news.arseblog.com Arsene interview).
Means Monreal, who is only just back fit, will play CB alongside Mertesacker, with Bellerin at RB.

Ramsey won't make the weekend, but should travel to Anderlecht next week. Rosicky is fit for the weekend. No one else is back that's been out.

No other real option for the team except what the OP has down, except Monreal in for Koscielny.

Hull will be up for this one after the FA cup final defeat. They will want revenge.

Hope its a cracker of a match like the cup final. even though we've only won 1 of however many matches against you. I really enjoy our matches against each other.

I think we should still have enough quality at home to take Hull but with Kos out and Monreal at the back, the Tigers now have a good chance of breaking our defence more easily. Kos has been our best defender for a few seasons and is one of the best on the deck in Europe. Monreal is a decent left back defender but in the centre, not so sure. Big Mert will have to be quite vocal at the back and make sure Monreal keeps to his hymn sheet. Flamini needs to give additional support at the back and i'd go for a secondary midfielder deep, like Rosicky. We have enough attack to create.

It is a worry as Hull have signed some good attacking players, and if they score a goal against our patched up defence then they could sit back, park up and we may struggle to break them down. Though we should still be able to do it, it would make things very difficult.

Still should be a good game and the fans should be in a good voice since its the 1st game since the cup final.

    Go on then I'll bite.

Worst place in Britain - Do you mean the city of culture.

I really believe that we're going to get something out of this game and time for Ben Arfa to produce the goods

Plenty of crappy places in London to live in, but because its London, it's <ok> If everything was more evenly distributed around the UK then plenty would pick to live elsewhere. Living in London is more necessity than a choice for some.

I've seen the provisional squad posted to a couple of articles and it looks like we will go for something like:

    --------------Szcz----------------
    Bellerin--mert--monreal--Gibbs
    -------Arteta-----wilshere------
    Oxocube-----Cazorla----Sanchez
    --------------Welbeck------------

Subs: ospina, coquelin, flamini, diaby, rosicky, Campbell, podolski

The team has plenty of pace in the wide areas and the midfield trio look good. The defence is a bit mix and match and we don't have much defensive cover on the bench either.

We have plenty of options to change things around on the bench though with rosicky, Campbell, podolski, flamini and diaby all offering different things. Will be interesting to see if diaby makes an appearance!

Rumours were Rosicky was injured? I wonder if Diaby is being used to sparingly because the new fitness guy is working a lot with him to finally sort him out? That would likely take a year or more. Good forward lineup & Wilshere has been playing well. No confidence in Arteta or Monreal at all.
