Seems an odd question to ask if you don't think that's a real possibility. And it'd be our worst league performance in how many years to not get 60 points? I'm thinking you have to go back a long way.
Because to not reach 60 points would be to have our worst season in many, many years. Isn't it a bit early for those kind of predictions?
Maybe if the likes of you didn't chat so much **** with your blind optimistic-positive outlook you wouldn't be baited, like when you say we're title contenders after 2 wins in 7, now 2 wins in 8, if you talk with realism you won't be called out.
I think it's a genuine real possibility. Right now we're on form to get 52.25 points from 38 games. And there's no sign of any improvement.

Maybe, but as I said in another thread, we need to improve soon, there's only up to a certain point when you can be this bad, and that's basically November, if there's no major improvement by then, and I'm talking us going on and winning our next 5 games and building runs like that, then this could very well end up being one of our worst in many, it happened to United last season, so we could find ourselves in that same predicament unless things turn around, and atm we keep saying it has to turn around but it doesn't.
What a pessimist. Every season, every team has ups and downs in form and results. I think it's highly unlikely we will continue to pick up points at the rate we have so far. We've had worse squads playing worse football who have got over 70 points in recent years. The season still has a long way to go and taking our poor start and trying to extrapolate that out over the whole season isn't going to give an accurate prediction of where we will be at.
I still fail to see how that despite signing Sanchez and Welbeck, we're doing worse than last season. Can only mean the manager is at fault.
I've said we really need to turn things around and in particular the games we have coming up against teams outside the top of the table. We need to be getting points on the board but it'd have to be a catastrophic failure to end on less than 60 points.

perhaps we are doing last season in reverse. last year we lead the league for a long time and fell away in March. perhaps this year we will fool everyone and play **** right up to January when AW buys a world class striker and a world class DM, and another centre back, and we then win every game from Jabuary to end of season and win the title* *some or none of this will be true.
We saved the game right at the end but we really went to the wire there. Hull were practically useless for the last 20 mins and repeatedly gave the ball away. You'd think a more competent side would have really punished us at the end. A lot of over reaction and I can still see us getting 4th spot as there really isn't anyone good enough to take that spot from us.
Disagree. We're relying on United and Liverpool screwing everything up, Liverpool may be our best friends here, as i can only see Utd getting stronger as the season goes on. If we can be less crap than Liverpool, 4th is ours.

How are we overreacting, I'd like to seriously know, 2 wins out of 8, only 1 home win so far this season, where exactly are we overreacting, this wasn't just one bad draw out of the blue. We now have gone 4 league games without a win, 3 of those games were at home as well. Where's the overreaction?
