Our bench looked strong tonight... and we still have Oxo, Pod and (to a lesser extent) Diaby to come back.
Watching the goals again and that assist from Ramsey was a thing of beauty. Can add that to the many great goals he has scored this season in his show-real.
Well played Arsenal tonight - no shame for us losing to you guys as you are on a different level to us and plenty of more experienced PL teams will get beaten more heavily at the Emirates this season. Sometimes you have to hold your hands up and say the better team won. On a wider issue - what has made the difference for you this season over last - is it just Ozil - or has Wenger changed things in other, more subtle ways to make you into genuine title contenders?
We were playing well before Ozil came, for the best part of a year now. He has given us a lot of confidence and raised the morale of the team though. I think the reason we're doing well at this point in time is more to do with tactical versality and increased defensive solidity, helped by having a consistent back 4 which provides the platform for midfield and attack. You can also attribute it to the increased performance of certain players such as Ramsey, who continues to get better with every time I see him play. Having said this, I still feel we are playing within ourselves at times, we do have other gears to go up to
Can't believe the pundits who keep writing off your chances of the title - especially as your defence is looking so solid (compared to Chelsea's for example, conceding 3 to Sunderland tonight) and Man City who are pretty inconsistent on the road. Good luck for the rest of the season - except for the return at the KC of course
oh how quiet the Manure bigmouths have become . Its oh so quiet ......... 12 points now . That is all . hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah if they dont make the top 4 this season i will LITERALLY , soil myself.
They said a few weeks that they couldn't afford to fall 11 points behind Arsenal, that was after they beat us. Well they are now!!!
Classic comment in the Guardian comments: "Good result - but I still don’t fancy Arsenal for the title because I think they’ll struggle for goals if Bendtner gets injured."
