Nope, need to improve really. Some leg breakers. Some bribes. They really need to learn. Get some better coaches in. And maybe sell bunches of slightly acidic grapes in the away end to really get things going. Or just tannoy noise of laughter playing through the away fan end speakers as we cheat them out of points.
Arsenal away Worst Ground Worst Atmosphere More Tourists then in the west end Older Arsenal fans must hate how your club has been took over by day trippers Not bitter about the result You won. We lost.
No not at all. If we lose so what ? Its nothing new. I support Hull City because I was born in Hull. We lose more then we win and always have done. Older Arsenal Fans will understand my post concerning your club being over run by tourists .
Sure the tourist comment is true enough. It's true for ALL the big Clubs. Annoyingly its the thing that ruins the atmosphere at Arsenal/United/Chelsea all the casual fans and corporate memberships. Our away fans have always been decent though.
I actually want Hull to stay up just so we can beat them next season by scoring controversial goals again. Then laugh hysterically at all their whining fans moan about how there's a "big club bias" and that there's a conspiracy against them. You can just imagine them frothing at the mouth and frantically typing on their keyboard in anger. Absolute scenes!
Now you have an idea of how most people laugh when Arsenal supporters whinge about imaginary red card offences
But this is exactly the problem I am always talking about. The referees have given red cards for that sort of stupidity so many times before that no one knows what the hell the rules are. They certainly aren't going by the FIFA laws of the game. So when a referee (every once in a while) goes by the real laws of the game, everyone is chirping. First goal was of course a clear handball and shouldn't have been given.
I was lucky enough to stand on the old North Bank terrace from around 87/87 until they pulled it down and put seats in there. Those days were electric, but football has moved on. We've lost a lot since those days in terms of atmosphere, but there are also positives in terms of safety and more family friendly stadiums etc. Although I tend to agree that the day trippers, corporates and tourists have killed the atmosphere to a degree. Don't take this the wrong way, but against the bigger teams like Utd, Spurs, Chelsea, City, Liverpool. The Emirates is still as lively as it was back in the day.
True Highbury was much better. All seater stadiums imo are terrible. I am stuck in the late 60's and 70's I guess Old trafford was a decent visit when the real stretford end and scoreboard end existed. Last time I visited it was a ****ing morgue. Modern football and modern fans. Grrrrrr
Ps For all your long term fans good luck.in Europe Hopefully the plastic tourists havent snapped up the tickets.
