Absolutely. Wenger is incredible. People underestimate just how good. However. The 'Club' need to take a long hard look at the current strategy. We need to either... A). Stop selling our Top Players.(particularly to our rivals) B). Replace the sales with equal or better quality. all the while maintaing our youth system.
Well we can beat spurs because it's the spuds, they're always beatable. Everton may be trickier, but beating the spuds will give the side a confidence boost.
Yes Arsenal have a chance of fourth. It is a good chance. It is between Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton I think. They are close on ability. I think Everton are the better team but they will be under pressure. It might got to the last game which will be exciting for the fans.
Because the games against tottenham never follow our current form. It's always a big event and the players know they need to put in a shift. I'm always confident when we play spurs. Villa have been pretty dire this season so shouldn't be an issue there. And that should put us in a position to leap frog Everton when we play them. And should we get good results in the games leading up to this game i think the players will be pumped up and ready to break back into the top 4.
Apart from the 5-2 last season spuds have been playing well against us for a few years now, they will almost certainly put in a good performance next week
Depends. Let's not forget that should Spurs lose to City, they will come into our game on the back of two straight defeats in the league. So the form evens it's self out.
@necromancer - what rubbish - if you compare the first teams of Everton and Arsenal it is clear we have the better side. Everton have a good squad and they always seem to do better than the individuals are expected to do - largely down to a good manager imo. But for overall quality Arsenal have some players that Everton simply could not sign. Tottenham had there chance last season and blew it and i don't expect them to be as close this time round. I think there squad has lost quality from last season and a couple of injuries would really test them. People forget that other than last season were we started poorly and were constantly playing catch up (finishing 3rd) we have alwasy been in the title race in previous seasons. Yes we have lost a few top quality players but we have also added some very important players to the squad. I think we will see a signing in January to ensure we maintain top 4.
just got back from the game thought fulham played quite well, our midfield there no urgency with the ball and without it today i think we have seen our level!
****. Of all the people that were on the pitch Arshavin IMO is the best penalty taker, can't believe I forgot about him.
I would rather have seen Manonne step up up take the pen, Arteta just looked like he was goiing to miss
your right about that...we've really missed Dembele, Kaboul, BAE and Parker...we are struggling to cope without them and most of us aint looking forward to next weekend
