TEAM NEWS: Cech, Bellerin, Sokratis, Mustafi, Monreal, Xhaka, Torreira, Ramsey, Ozil, Aubameyang, Lacazette.

Happy to see Torreira starting, will be interesting to see how he does alongside Xhaka.

Disappointed to see Ramsey on the right, though I think it's to help Bellerin neutralise Richarlison. Ramsey's energy and vigor can be useful, but he needs to maintain his discipline. It may mean we lose some attacking quality on the right-hand side though.

Will be an interesting game, I'm not confident we're going to win, but I hope my gut feeling is wrong.

Happy to see Torreira starting but Xhaka is already struggling with the pace of the game. Given the ball away a few times already.

I wish he would play with abit more urgency.

Yep, as poor defensively as ever and don't start getting into game's until the second half. Sound familiar.<doh>

Everton are outplaying us here. This has all been very wayward. We're fortunate to not be losing.

I am hoping for a repeat of AJ's fight last night. Currently we got punched in the nose....pick ourselves up and knock them out!

I hate to say it because it’s still so early in his reign...

But I think we almost look worse defensively under emery than under Wenger.

I still think it’s down to learning Emery’s system, but it’s such a worry...

Now our best defender coming off.

    Sokratis injured.

Yeah we do - but we look alittle sharper around goal (need less chances to score).. soo hard to say which is better/worse.

Terrible first half,Cech keeping us on level term's,far too pedestrian from Arsenal not good enough by a long way.Emery needs to get his finger out and get his team playing from minute one.

    Cech made some good saves.

I hate to day this AGAIN but Mustafi and Xhaka have been our worst players.

Bellerin is useful going forward but defensively can be soo lax. I would prefer we start Lichsteiner.

Nothing has come off for Auba or Laca and Ramsey's been invisible.

On the plus side - we are practically always better in the second half under Emery.

Not a great half of football. I can't stress enough how bad Mustafi is. It causes the entire defence to panic. At one point in that first half, he gave the ball away to an Everton player just in front of the penalty area which meant Sokratis had to make a last ditch tackle, take a yellow and was injured as a result. GET HIM OFF.

The only positive is that we haven't conceded. Genuinely.

Cech has been our best player.

We are passing the ball very slowly. There's no intensity to our game. And we have players out of position.

Losing my patience with Ramsey. He's offered absolutely nothing. If he wants to leave, let him go. Because we play a lot more fluidly without him.

Mustafi has not been good at all. The reason Sokratis got booked and injured all stemmed from him losing the ball in a vital area of the pitch, meaning Sokratis had to make the foul.

Everton must be kicking themselves. How they've not taken the lead in this game I do not know.

But a football match is 90 minutes - we never seem to utilise the full 90 minutes in a game to win.

We cannot keep relying on valiant second-half displays to get us through matches. It is going to cost us sooner rather than later.

I also dont want to sound negative. But I dont see much of a "high press" in this system nor a more solid defence. But hopefully it is down to early days.

    Lacazette! Stunning finish!

Everton don't deserve to be behind at all, but I don't care!

Let's try and get on top of the game now! COYG!
