Ozil was impressive today.., lets see how he does against Bayern this Tuesday. He's been notorious for going missing in big games (not to take anything away from him).
When he was 20, he destroyed England in the under 21's European championship final, destroyed England again at the World Cup in 2010, and was also brilliant against Argentina (in fact was pretty sensational in most games during that world cup). Had numerous good game against Barca in the El clasico (set up the winner for Ronaldo with a brilliant pass which sealed the title for Madrid in 2011-12 season. Was excellent for Real Madrid against Bayern in the CL semi-finals a few years back.

I think he's referring to this season in the Prem. Always going to be an issue when a player goes for mega bucks. He's been good in his first season though.
Yup, more so the tail end of his final season at Madrid and this season. He went missing and missed a lot of chances during the CL SEMI final and copa del ray final last season. And he's gone missing from quite a few big games for us. I understand it's his first season with us but that's no excuse to be lazy or look disinterested. Still a class player though.
Didn't see the game today as I was out with the family for lunch, but kept an eye on the score on my phone. Just seen the highlights. Cracking counter attacking last goal and great to see Ozil back on the score sheet. Also Arteta deserves credit for keeping his cool having to retake the pen and hopefully a couple of goals for Giroud will inspire an end of season flurry for him.
