If that's your definition of a 'great' performance then fine. Easily satisfied. There were no great performances tonight in my opinion.
Your opinion is not always fact and when everyone else disagrees with you, then that really says something.
Looking ahead to the Fulham game, I just do not know what to make of that game. They are a good side who play good football, and they gave us all sorts of problems at the Emirates earlier in the season, but their season is all but over and they might lack some motivation. Could go anyway, that one.
a) Where do I say my opinion is fact? In fact I say quite the opposite... I said that you can have your opinion but it's just different to mine. b) People disagreeing with me says nothing
I agree, I just think our players deserve support even when they are trying to get back to their best

What I mean by that is that I thought Ramsey took far too much abuse from some fans. True he wasn't anywhere near his best and he had some mares, but he is proving that it was worth the patience, because he is actually a quality player. He was before his leg break and it's taken this long for him to get back on track. He deserves a lot of credit for do so in my opinion.
Tbh on that day we had a defensive nightmare, but now our defense is much more organized and we SHOULD be beating them. I think we'll edge them out.
Hell, Cavani wants to leave Napoli and come to England, so lets put everything we've got into getting him. Unlikely sure, but worth a try.
Our recent record at Craven Cottage is not great, though. It's going to be interesting to see what they do against Chelsea tomorrow, because that might give an idea into their form, motivation and weaknesses.
Also, our record against the top six really has been ****. Out of a possible 27 points, we took 6. I think that again comes down to lacking a clinical forward. In a lot of those games, it was tight and when we had that big chance, it was missed.
Couldn't agree more. When players play crap they deserve stick. When they play well they deserve praise. Ramsey has gone from crap to good.
My personal opinion is that if they are picked for the team then they deserve support even when they aren't playing well. I think giving them stick just makes it worse, but like I say, that's just my opinion
Depends on what sort of 'stick' they are getting. If it's just mindless abuse then it's pointless and does not help, especially from fans in the stadium.
I agree. I'm mainly referring to forums and social media. When people criticize players constructively here and have to deal with.... well, sycophants for lack of a better word, it gets annoying and tends to destroy worthwhile debate. All you get is pointless arguments.
I can't agree with that. You're basically giving no outlet for any criticism whatsoever. Also, who's to say that criticism doesn't help a player to realize they're not doing well enough; prompting them to improve? Sure, mindless criticism and abuse in the stadium is wrong, but mindless support outside the stadium seems unproductive too. If people just called it how they see it, we could probably have a better discussion.
a good point indeed. The criticism may have been THE important factor in his deciding to play his socks off. If we all had said " ah well lad , another crap game but never mind , its ok "... he might NEVER have determined to up his game.... does the stick always make it worse , ............i wonder..............
We complain about lacking a top CF, but is it not funny that three of our rivals also have the same complaint? Arsenal,Spurs,Everton and Chelsea all lack a world class forward. It's the hardest position to fill and get right, the thing that makes it worse is that we had that top CF last season.
Thats a surprising statistic. Even if you extended it to the top seven (as you currently take up a spot in the top six) you still only have 10 points from a possible 33. Even little Norwich have 12 points off the top six, and we aren't even a 'good' team as alluded to by other posters here.
