Mannone is not commanding the defense at all. That was the second goal when he had to shout that it was his ball. Vermaelen plays like a wood cutter - twice conceded free kicks - two goals.

 

With all due respect, that is rubbish. If the defender is making an effort to connect with the ball he will always put the goalie off. Still fairly sure it was going wide too. Commentators are even saying it's an own goal.

 

I'm on the verge of wanting to punch Ramsey very hard, unless he learns to pass.

Yes if a player goes for the ball the goaly will be put off, but its a free kick goinjg ionto the 6 yard box, there are two teams wiorth of players going for it. Koc was just the only one with quick enough reactions. So what, he went for it and missed it, it clipped off his shin - looked goal bound to me anyway

 

He's allowed 1. He's been our best player.

 

Getting annoyed with Ramsey too. He started well, but not sure he's made a single completed pass in this half. Awful.

 

We need to bring on Theo and Giroud. And by the sounds of it, we're doing that.
