Agree with that. He does have moments where he switches off but on the whole he does track back and his pace means that he can get back as quickly as anyone in football.

I'm predicting 1-0 to the Arsenal. (Podolski)

    i would go with...

    --------------------Sczezney-------------------
    Jenks------Merts---------Vermaelen-----Gibbs
    ----------Arteta-------------Diaby------------
    -------------------Carzorla-------------------
    Gervinho----------Giroud-------------Podoslki

tempted to go with Walcott for his finishing ability but I'm sure Gervinho will create more.

Idd superjack. When we play Walcott and Gerv as our wingers we get the most cover at the back. It's also the combination quickest on the counter and the players id play for any open or attacking game as they give us great cover whilst offering brilliant counter attacking outlets.

Question is will Chelsea play an open attacking game? They might have brought a load of attacking players, but RDM knows that his approach in the big games last season worked. With luck, but it did work so they could come and shut up shop at the Emirates.

I'm going to be my normal optimistic self and say Chelsea will win 2-0, which should guarantee us an easy win tomorrow.

Yeah, but you started to score points now. So, that probably no longer works. :(

wow, and i was frustrated that i had to wake up at 10 or 10 30 to leave the house by 11 to 11 15 to catch the tube train to arsenal. :-D. A direct line I must add, not changes, straight to Arsenal. :-D.

I was looking at Arsenal.com, and checking ticket exchange and the last price I saw was for this game was £127 quid for a seat in the lower tier. <yikes>

That has to be a mistake.I'm only paying £62.I'm sure Arsenal wouldn't allow people to tout their tickets

Wow goonercym... I feel sorry for you. I just got up now. I'm leaving in an hour. The joy of supporting a local club. A luxury that many Man Utd fans don't have.

May the best team lose, because I have a feeling we are going to be second best in this match.

Not happy about dropping Mertesacker. Koscielny shouldn't be starting just because he scored last week. He nearly gifted city a winner too, and his positioning was off at times. Mert was brilliant however. We all know Wenger makes 1 cock up a week when it comes to team selection, this is his error this week.

i think not playing walcott is the mistake. he always troubles cashley when we attack, but also pegs him back when defending. and cashley can cause us lots of troubles.

i think koscielny is the right decision, as chelsea have small, quick forwards, and the best way to counter that is with quick and agile defenders.
