I do not care how good he can be on his day, it's shocking that a club like Man Utd still have a 37 year old in midfield, FFS. In every game I watched, United have been bossed in midfield.
How can Van Pussy call rank when he's only been a United player for a couple of months? I guess his ego has returned.
United losing, Spurs winning... not sure how to feel. It's like choosing between syphilis and gonorrhea
If Spurs hang on and win here, then that really is pouring salt into our wounds. ****ing **** day. United do not have Howard Webb and Ronaldo to turn this around.
You know what, I wouldn't be mad if Spurs win, at the end of the day, Spurs are Spurs, this will be a big win for them, nothing more really, Spurs have had big results in other seasons, remember when they came back from 2-0 down, to beat us 3-2 at the Emirates? In the long haul, what did that achieve for them? Nothing, we still ended above them, so this would be a big win for them, but Spurs being Spurs, which is ****, will choke as usual, and end below us. On the other hand, United are a top team, who will always be up there, so the more points they lose, the better for us, as it keeps us on their tails, and gives us a good chance of ending above them. So in the long run, a United loss does really serve us better than a United win over Spurs. But Spurs are Spurs, they'll probably end up losing this game.
The **** thing is United will improve and not play anywhere near as bad as this when we go to OT in November.
Either that or Spurs will bottle it like always. I'm sure they are already planning a DVD release for the first half.
I think we're due a result at OT, we've lost 3 out of our last 4 at OT, and 4 of our last 5, so we're due a draw, or a win, our last win at OT came in August or September 2006, with Adebayor's late goal in a 1-0 win, so we're due to get something over there, especially with their positive results at the Emirates. Or we could end up losing again. .
