I challenge ANYONE to run slower than Ramsey did there to get back. An awful lazy, performance with no character through the team. 1 point out of 2 home games is not good enough. Now no Walcott or Arteta for the last 3.
Lets hope for a favour from Stoke and QPR. Newcastle OR Spurs will tie it up with us if they win their next 2.
Wasn't expecting a game without goals! Terry, Cahill, Koscielny and Vermaelen weren't letting anything past them. Good point for us.
Jayram being "****-man" not-withstanding ... not a bad game for us. Brilliant defensive performance from the back four, can't think of a foot wrong Vermi or Kos put all day. A point is good against Chelsea, they're our last really tough opponents of the season ... need to be looking at getting the scoring boots on in the last games now.
I think a point pretty much finishes your chances of being 3rd, so you will have to hope for Newcastle AND Spurs to slip up now - or of course win the CL.
Jayram - Ramsey was trying to bust a gut to get back, he put it in which is what matters. Song would've done no better and neither would Arteta who isn't blessed with pace. Ramsey played very well toward the end, it should show you what he can do when on form. The team is desperate for Diaby to step up to the plate and for Gervinho to pull his finger out - if we can get performances from these 2 thats the key to us finishing 2nd. The draw means it is still in our own hands. Might not be a bad idea to play with Santos in front of Gibbs for the remainder of the season, the balance looked good.

To be honest we have a very easy last 3. All those clubs have nothing to play for and will be tiring now at the end of the year with the way they all play. Perfect sides to play at the end If we get 4 points we will be fine and I expect we will get 3rd.
Ramsey did play well in the second half, but once his tank is empty he looks like he is running in quick sand. I've not seen anyone that slow, even when out of gas. TBH though, Ramsey's pace, or lack of it, is a big weakness in his game.
I was expecting to lose, Emirates is never easy and we were having to rely on Spuds and Newcastle anyway.
especially if walcott is out for the season, which i suspect he might be. i pulled my groin a week ago and it takes 2-3 weeks to get fully back
