Just let me say that as a Barca fan living abroad, most of us will be fully behind Arsenal. you play an attractive style of football that is not fully appreciated in the UK and when I see teams like Chelsea win the league, I really do despair for the English game. Given the choice of Chelsea or Arsenal, it would be the Gunners every time for most people here. Good luck for next seasons campaign. Hopefully we will see you Camp Nou soon.
Let's be honest, most neutral fans hold the opinion of food for thought, and that's just a fact. Clubs like Arsenal, and even United AND Spurs are respected, Chelsea are not, nobody respects Chelsea or even likes them, everyone knows they play anti-football, and are only where they are because of a rich sugar daddy who just wanted another new play toy.
In a nutshell They bent over and let Roman pump them. Without him they would still be a two bit yo-yo club like Millwall.
How will tickets be sold - is there a general sale or is it like the Cup Final and we get **** all allocation
The first priority will be to ST holders with a certain amount of game credits, then it will go to silvers and then reds.I doubt very much there will be a general sale.Keep checking on Arsenal.com,all the details will be on there
Generally Community Shield tickets are easier to get on general sale, i managed to go to 2 Community Shields on general sale, back in the 2004-2005 season VS United and the year after VS Chelsea, but that was at Cardiff, many fans may have not wanted to travel all that way for the game, and with this being at Wembley, might be more demand. The question is, will Chelski manage to fill their whole section? Bet they won't.
They couldn't even be ****ed to turn out to see their league victory parade, I doubt the ****s will even bother to turn up for the community shield.
It's not such a big deal for us but we'll fill our section don't worry about that. We win titles not friendlies. ****s.
Remember when they had half their stadium missing when they had a home game in the carling cup? Not a rarity for them, many times their homes games had loads of empty seats in that cup competition. Everyone knows Chelsea's support is quite **** compared to the other big clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool, United, and even Spurs. The same goes for City, both them and Chelski have quite a **** fan support base.
If we'd played in the 3rd division like Citeh did a few years ago I'd love to have seen our average home gate.Citeh have some of the most loyal fans
Tbh alot of City fans have been City fans from the very start. They don't really attract that many glory hunters in the same vein that Chelsea or United do. Maybe in time they will but for now I'd say their support base is decent.
We've attracted enough glory hunters over the years.Twenty years ago we couldn't fill a 38,000 capacity stadium
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33632645 Let's hope they start him for the shield game. Tired from training lolzy
Found this comment from Fabregas to be funny: 'It is a big game, a London derby at Wembley in front of all the fans. It’s a nice competition to play in and even if it is a pre-season game you still want to win. Someone needs to tell him Chelski can't sell out their allocation, lol.
