To be fair it means nothing to the supporters of most clubs. There are only a few clubs who people expect to win it fairly often, Arsenal, United, Liverpool and I suppose City and Chelsea are in that group now.
As for Maureen, he will be ****ting himself that Arsenal might beat them in the charity shield. It doesn't matter what comp or game it is. He simply won't be able to handle losing to Wenger because he's talked so much **** about him and Arsenal in the past. For all of his supposed 'mind games' Maureen is actually an insecure little prick who throws a tantrum at the first sign of things not going his way.

Exactly, it is when teams are constantly around the top but never quite make it that people start counting, it can happen to anyone.
I fully expected you to win the cup (not 4-0 though ) but he was dead wrong to count it a week before the game. Anyone can win a final, you only have to look at a list of recent winners to know that.
