More potential injury news after Tierney’s season is over.

It this is true, Partey will be out for 36 days. Last thing we needed <doh>

Losing Tierney was bad enough, but if we lose Partey too we are really gonna struggle.

I suppose the natural replacement to come in is Lokonga, who is decent enough, but nowhere near Partey's quality.

It is of course, a must win game

1-0 Brighton. Trossard. Deserved too. We’ve not got going at all.

All three defenders were too slow to come out and no-one spotted the runner.

This is going to be an uphill battle now considering our appalling record at coming from behind.

    HT. 0-1.

Martinelli scored in injury time but it was offside, looked very close though.

However, that would have been a get out of jail card. Arteta has really ballsed this game up.

Players are being asked to do things they’re not usually expected to do, we miss Xhaka in the middle and we’re relying on wide players to do all the hard work.

This is exactly like what what happened in our awful form last season. Not a good sign.

We need to turn this around asap. Our season is in serious danger of unravelling.

Are you happy at all the diving and rolling around feigning injury Arteta has bought to Arsenal?

    Disaster.

Those injuries and subsequent chopping and changing of positions are going to cost us bad

Need to try and fix up and at least make sure we qualify for Europey this season

Brighton have scored more goals today (2) than in their previous seven Premier League games combined (1).

Lol. Jokers. This club is never going to prosper again.

So when we're 2-0 down, and about 15 mins left, he decides to bring Pepe on? Why not bring him on before?

This is ALL on Arteta today. A huge opportunity and we **** it up like this against a team who has lost 6 of their last 7 matches.

    Humiliating.

    2-1. Odegaard deflected shot.

Too little, too late. Even a draw wouldn’t be good enough really.

    FT. 2-1 Brighton.

We deserved to lose that from minute one.
Lack of intensity, lack of courage on the ball, too reliant on width and no purpose in any of our passing or shooting.

Rubbish formation, rubbish tactical selections which imbalanced us, bizarre subs and not enough danger until the final 7 minutes of the game.

Arteta has cost us this match entirely and looks to have cost us the season.

    We really lacked creativity today.

I think that might be top 4 gone as we really needed to win our “easy” games; think spurs will get it now.

it’s not the end of the world in terms of long term planning, but if we finish outside the top 6 it is a real issue - and I’m not convinced we will even finish top 6.

Wouldn’t surprise me if we finish 8th again.

If we finish 8th again, we absolutely need a change of manager without any hesitation. Three seasons of finishing 8th? Nah. That can't run.

KSE aren't serious if they think Arteta's still the man, should we finish 8th again and have two consecutive years out of Europe.
