Lovely. We are showing true grit and character here. If we go on to win this, we have definitely gone up a level.

Neither team have been impressive so far. Both have been quite sloppy but we've done we'll to come back. Attacking wise we've been a bit impotent. If Gnarby is on the bench id bring him on for Wilshere if he's injured.

I agree but we can't keep starting games this slow and sloppy against top sides,

Thought we responded well after we went behind. Ozil has been quiet, but Rosicky has been fairly lively and was unlucky not to score. Deserved equaliser and it's set up for a really good second half.

I missed the first 15 mins but i havn't seen Dortmund have any controlled possession yet, their chances have all come from us giving the ball away cheaply.

Too many first time flicks for my liking

Agreed <ok> We we're too cautious in the first twenty minutes and ran out of ideas in the final third, we kept giving the ball away to Dortmund and when Ramsey lost it in the danger zone we got punished.

We need to play the second half, like the second part of the first half. Keep Dortmund turned around and facing their own goal and quick and incisive with our passing.

I think Giroud has got another goal in him tonight.

They were dominant the first 20 minutes or so than we got control, but a lot of back passing.

I think Wilshere will be replaced very early next half. A lot of very easy passes misplaced.

Rosicky has done well - strange that he's in the centre with Ozil wide. I'd rather them the other way round as Rosicky is better defensively.

Personally I would bring Carzorla on for Ramsey and move Wilshere into the middle.

Ramsey has looked off the pace. Arteta and Giroud have both been excellent.

I've been saying this for a while, most of our conceded goals come from unnecessary errors. Dortmund look very beatable tonight. They have not shown much in the final third. These are the games where we miss Walcott and Oxo to terrorise the defence. I really hope Gnarby comes on because Dortmubd are for the taking.

I'm getting a bit exasperated with Wilshere. Is he actually that good? The best I've ever seen him play was in a midfield with Fabregas and I'm starting to think on his own he can't actually do all that much. Very poor decision making. Constantly trying silly flicks. Constantly on the floor. Hopefully he'll 'do a Ramsey'. But he shouldn't be in our team if everyone is fit.

Giroud has done well considering he's been fed scraps. Wilshere and Rosicky were unlucky not to score.

I'd keep Ramsey and sub Wilshere. He's getting elementary passes wrong and Ramsey still does work defensively. (despite that unfortunate goal)

Totally disagree with this. Wilshere is top quality, I still don't think he's fully fit. But this assessment is way off the mark in my opinion.

That said, I would look to be subbing Wilshere in this game after around an hour if he doesn't pick up, he's been off the pace - as I said I don't think he's fully fit.

It's really why I said my priority for January is a winger, it's the area we are lacking the most. And against top teams we will need other solutions if plan A is not working.

Top quality based on...? Optimism? I like Wilshere don't get me wrong... Just don't think he's all that great a general football player. Happy to be proved wrong
