We can cope without Wilshere, we have Ramsey-Cazorla and even OXO who can play in that position, and then Rosicky...And they can all keep that spot warm for Ozil when he gets back and can finally play in his main central position.

I don't want any player to get injured, but if I'm being honest, I am not disappointed to see Jack out of the team for the long term, he has offered next to nothing this season, and even last, people saying he was just getting back to form, well I don't know about that maybe for England he was doing all right, but for the club I haven't seen any significant improvement from him.

We have to eventually start finding some form, and we may do it in the next months, would it be a coincidence that we just happen to find form when Wilshere isn't playing week in week out? The same scenario happened in the 2012, too many players that did not deserve to be starting were starting and we were continually suffering, until Wenger dropped a few and made changes and our formed turned around.

Yeah I agree - but Merts is a CB, just out of form, so can improve to the beast he was last season, whereas Monreal is a LB and will always have severe limitations as a CB, which is why we should be playing Bellerin and have Chambers CB.

I'd be then tempted to have a back 4 of Bellerin, Chambers, Kos, Gibbs when Kos comes back (though Gibb's leg will probably fall off before Kos is up to speed)

Not having Wilshere is a blow squad wide but he wasn't playing at a level that would have us missing him much. As A87 has pointed out, we are stacked in his position.

But we have our key player back Kos. He will make a significant difference to us and hopefully this will give us that foundation to start a winning run. I'd even be tempted to try a Kos&Chambers CB partnership, but the only issue is who will play as our RB.

    Kos the boss!!

I also look forward to have Ozil back - someone who can pull the strings.

For this game I would put Ox on the right, Welbeck as nr 9, Sanchez as nr 10 and Podolski to the left. Alternatively, swap sanchez and the Ox. The ox is in a great form right now.

Kinda ridiculous Giroud isn't in the squad because 'we didnt register him in time'.

That just screams of amateurish management.

To be fair initial prognosis was that he'd be back after the group stages were done, if we had registered an injured player, and then say he used up the space for someone else who could have come in, we would be saying why the **** did we register an injured player? He came back 4 weeks ahead of time.

Wow seriously? The man is our main striker. I wonder if it was down to poor admin or a bad decision....

So they got the prognosis wrong by 4 weeks? I can understand a week, even two, but a whole month. That is just poor. Also it's not like we're overflowing with CF's are we. We only have two natural CF's in the side.

Strangely Debuchy is in the squad but Giroud isn't - or did Debuchy play in the groups before getting injured?

This is not the prognosis of any man, but Giroud, a machine, a terminator, if we were dealing with a mere mortal it would be fair enough, but we are not.

According to UEFA Dortmund are missing quite a few players, here's a list -
Papastathopoulos (calf), S Bender (hip), Reus (ankle), Hummels (ankle), Kirch (thigh), Nuri Şahin (knee)
    with Błaszczykowski (knee) being doubtful.

I knew Reus was out, but good news that Hummels, Bender and Papa...los is out. Also Blas...zszz..ski looked good against us last time.

It's ok, it is easy to be dazzled in to insensibleness by the shear aura of that hair.

More like he's back ahead of schedule. Nobody would have predicted him being back a month early and hindsight can't even be used as an argument here because we're Arsenal. When do our major injuries were come back early?
