We already have 1 piece of silverware, the Community Shield, so wrongggggg again. Man you suck at this. Oh and you 'might' not be out of Europe and the League Cup, you ARE out of both. Your new team name: Mid-table United.
We didn't lose to Bradford,we drew.Once the referee blew the final whistle the official result was 1-1
like last season you mean ...... oh ...... go get your programmes out , the ones with Ronaldo on the front and crack one off, you will feel better , the past is always gonna be the best place for manure now.
cheeky bid for Van Judas in jan . 4 million maybe. He will be desperate to get off that Titanic of a c̶l̶u̶b̶ ....brand
Thank you Alexis you have already paid off your transfer fee. I dont know where this new resilience has come from but I feel like im watching a different Arsenal than seasons gone. I dont think we have enough in our locker to win the league but im confident of some silverware this season if we can grind out wins like tonight. A massive well done to Arsene for a record breaking champions league qualifying campaign.
I said I hope you do well and Arsenal got lucky and its a fact that another time they could have had a penalty that's all, no need to turn it about united, wumming don't have that much affect on me...... Anyway I'm leaving all this Champions league and League cup talk is depressing me
I'm glad Sanchez hasn't had to wait long for a goal and that it was in such an important game. It'll be good for him.
Seriously...have you really just had united fan on here trying to wum you cos you got a "lucky" win...the day after united were battered by a league 1 club? Did he really say you could have had 2 penaltiess against you? They lost 4 nil and should have had a nailed on hand ball given as a penalty and he wums you lot? That is one f**king masochistic bastard
F*ck me there are some proper drama queens on here! Thought there were some real positives from last night against a tough side who Bilic had set up perfectly to give us a tough game. Santi was my motm but Jack had a really solid game, Alexis did brilliantly imo and Debuchy was desperately unluck to be sent off. We created a host of gilt chances in the second half and once we're a bit sharper those will start flying in and our confidence will go up too. Not sure why everyone is so negative but I guess haters gonna hate... Other musings: How many times must Ãzil do a nice move before pundits see it? How much does Alexis run?! How petty was the ref to book Chambers?! How lucky were we with the "pens"? Phew... How classy was Bilic after the game? I think he'll be in this league managing soon and will do a very good job. Still, same old story with a twist for us. Yes we looked dodgy a few times and were on the ropes but we still created a host of chances to win and are developing a new found resilience which hasn't been part of this team for years. Disco. 17 years and counting bitches!
I agree PeterRick - I thought there were some positives. I stand corrected as I didn't want Cazorla or Wilshere in the team before the game (due to their poor form) but they were 2 of our best players - Sanchez also seemed to love the space he was given and looked a threat. I also thought Ozil looked good on the left (Cazorla looked much better in the centre), even though he fluffed a few passes, he was fully of running and linking up with other players - and got an assist! I'm pretty worried about the amount of silly and quite often needless yellows we're giving away - usually because we've been caught out of position and can't get back. Very lucky with both pens, particularly the Wilshere one!
I didn't think Cazorla had that second half in him, he was chasing all over the place, like a shorter Rosicky. The yellows happen because teams get in behind our midfield far too easily with simple balls
Agreed, he was like a little terrier, blocking everything, almost like he wants to be like Sanchez! His best position is clearly in the centre but that's also true for Ãzil and Jack. It's a good and bad problem to have. Good because of our strength in depth there but bad because it means we won't sign out and out wide players when we have so many players who can "do a job" there. Personally I'd rather one less no 10 midfielder and one more proper wide player.
