Tactical masterclass today. Set up deep, let them have possession and caught them via set-piece and counter. Giroud as a Plan B is unreal.
Assuming we lose in Munich then beat Zangreb at home we'll have a head to head decider in the final game. Unless Bayern decide to **** up against one of them...
For once let's also give credit to the 5th official, the most useless official in the game who never seems to do anything.
Got to love Wenger..always dangling a carrot for the fans...and they will munch away till its Wenger out week.
So we'd have to better what Olympiakos did to us at home? Basically, like what happens in the last 16?
Do you enjoy watching us spank teams like Munich in the CL while you get ready to play some unheard of goat farmers?
This shows how unpredictable this Arsenal side are, especially in Europe. To beat one of the best Euro teams at home is quite an achievement. I'm not overly bothered about Europe but more about the result. Beating one of the best teams in Europe should add confidence and belief to the team for the league. I'm just hoping they start believing they can win the league and after this result, what more could they need?
Just awesome. So impressed with our quick counter attacking in the 1st half and how dangerous we looked, and the work rate in the second was awesome. Giroud was everywhere when he came on as well.
It's the way we should always play in the big games. Our squad is best suited to the counter-attacking game. We played this way after we scored the first goal against United and at Man City last Season. Wenger should always set -up like this in Europe IMO.
On the Chelsea board they are patting themselves on the back for a 0-0 with dynamo Kiev, so I think we can be pretty happy with our 2-0 win over bayern haha
