Well 0-0 at half time and a man down. It could be much worse. But you better believe Bayern are going to lay siege to our goal second half.
Wow What an intense first half of football. Great start from us and very unlucky not to score, with the pen, the Sanogo chance and Ox through when Neuer cleared. Then on the back foot when Chez was sent off, we did really well to keep Bayern out. I thought Dante was lucky not to see another yellow for that cynical hack on Wilshere when we were breaking, he could have been off too. Going to be a tough second half. But I predicted a O-O and it could still come to fruition. It would be a great result considering that we're now down to ten men.
Wilshere has played well. Shame about Gibbs he was looking great. I have to say though, watching Neuer makes me realise that Sczezney is'nt as good as we think he is. Neuer is a different class.
Still don't understand why penalty and a yellow card isn't enough in those situations. Chesney knows the rules though and can't complain
Wow. That was ****ing intense. We took the game to Bayern and had on the ropes and then Ozil killed all that with his pen. And then it was all Bayern from there. Would be a heroic effort if we manage to keep a clean sheet.
****ing hell.... What a 45 minutes of football.... This is what the cl is about. So much more exciting in these games than when we play barca! We've very much held our own, it's been an even game, really pleased with the effort today from everyone. The penalty miss was a shame, the red card was heart breaking, their penalty miss was pure adrenaline. Up until the red card I was thinking we could win today, now I'm thinking if we can a ke it to 90 at 0-0 it'll be a fantastic result.
Expect Bayern to come out all guns blazing in the second half. We'll need a miracle to get out of this one alive.
