Yes Jenks has been very good today. Keeping Agbonlahor quiet.

 

I've lost count the amount of times we've given the ball away or just passed it out of play.

 

Not a very good half but 1-0 is good

 

We look low on confidence at the moment, otherwise we should be at last 2 or 3 up by now. Wilshere, Jenks, Cazorla and Mertz been playing well so far.

 

Far from convincing against a struggling team. Need an early goal in the second half

 

The team is understandbly lacking in confidence. We need to wrap this up early second half.

 

We need to keep the ball better. The end-to-end nature of the first half suits Villa because of their fast wingers. If we just keep calm and control of the ball, they'll tire and we can pick holes in the defence.

 

Playing too much into Villa and their strengths. Bring on Rosicky, slow it down and retain possession.

 

Wilshere hasn't had his best game so maybe drop him back to the CM position and take off Diaby for Rosicky? Maybe if we're 2-0 near the end bring on Ramsey too. I'd also bring on Pod around 60 minutes

 

I think we'll win but we'll concede - 2-1.

Sounds good to me. I think Wilshere has been playing good but is trying to do too much. Rosicky will help to retain the ball better and calm things down. We need a second goal to force Villa back. At the moment they seem to have too much confidence and vigor. WE need to stop that.

LOL i like that when we do get the odd good corner kick (1 out of 50) our players are actually surprised and do nothing with it.
