Ozil was phenomenal today, he created so many chances. If we had our shooting boots on, Ozil could have broken the assist record today! His passing is out of this world.
He found so much space didn't he - exquisite passing and movement from him. I can't believe how many chances we missed though!
Yeah we should have won by a much more comfortable margin and made up the GD we lost against Southampton. Happy to take the three points and have no new injuries during this busy period though.
Credit to the players who came into the team today, especially Gabriel. He scored one, cleared tons of balls from our area and had something like 87% pass accuracy too. A really good game from him. Also Chambers did really well in midfield, I had doubts about him playing there, but he did okay today. We are top of the league
Top, that's all that matters. Tomorrow a draw would be ideal. If not that, Leicester winning would be better than a city win. Ozil has to be in the top 3 players in the league this season.
Solid response to Saturday's debacle. Ozil ran the show. Chambers looked intelligent and disciplined. Ox and Theo made good runs. Could have battered them by more had we been more clinical but I'll take the solid 2-0
Top result and even better that the other squad players came in and did a job. Ozil continues on his imperious form and is probably the best player at the moment.
