Off course you can take pride. We just destroyed AC Milan 3-0. Like I said, the players gave it their all and left everything on that pitch. We carry on our run of form. In the last three games we have beaten Tottenham,Liverpool and AC Milan.
You said it was a meaningless win. Alan - he's just warming up. Now he has managed to get a few bites to his trolling he will gather his couple of cronies and drag the board completely downhill for a couple of days.
Logically how wasnt it a meaningless win then? They deserve massive credit for tonight, obviously. But it was a meaningless win. That is just a complete fact mate.
But you won tonight. Yes you were knocked out of the champions league tonight but this result will do your team a load of good in terms of confidence.
LOL I guess whenever anyone actually speaks the truth - especially when it gets in the way of emotional clap trap - its trolling! The way some our going on within this forum you'd think we had qualified! We got knocked out - valiant and glorious failures we should leave to Spurs!
The thing with Jayram is that he feeds off of negativity, because it validates his own opinions. It also placates his insecurities about having his views being exposed as nonsense Sad, yes, but this is how he operates. Arsenal were immense tonight, we weren't poor in the 2nd half. We lost Oxo and Walcott and some of our creative guile and still RVP almost got the vital 4th goal for us. Yes, we're out, but the accusations of loser mentality is patronising nonsense that should be rightly dismissed.
Exactly. That means it was not meaningless, but for them to admit that would make it harder for them to start the fighting they crave so badly
We lost the tie tonight. As I have said we played brilliantly in the first half (and that deserves praise), but we were poor overall in the second half - especially Walcott, Song, and Gibbs. In the first leg we were bloody awful. Given this - I do find it strange that people go on about what a glorious night it has been. I genuinely dont understand that ???
100% correct. I pity Newcastle, especially if we can reach the performance of the 1st half again next monday.
An immense, glorious night to fill every Arsenal fan with pride!!!!!!!.......... as Arsenal were knocked out of the Champions League
Nut it was meaningless. Just like if you are already relegated and then win the last game of the season 10-0. Sure that game deserves credit but its a meaningless win.
PS...Pip City to the title. I'd hate for them to become what Roman A at Chavski tried to create. While I don't like United, they have history unlike their Neighbors
Beating Milan won't give the squad a confidence boost? It won't build on the recent win against the Spuds and Liverpool? You clearly know **** all about anything lol
