Everyone in this division and half of the championship. We can't quote attendances from 50 years ago and say we're massive ffs.
You mean the currently well-financed and successful ones? Out of 92, how many are big? How many are medium ? And how many are small?
We're the biggest club in East Yorkshire. And to be fair, our average attendances in the late 40's/early 50's were very impressive. They were nearly as big as my knob.
Now we're going up, are we meant to harp on about our awesome history, like TWS, Forest etc do? Always sounded fun that, living in the past. Although that said, I'm gonna stick with we're the biggest club in the ER. At the moment.
If we had any prestigious history (notice i said prestigious history- we have history in the game but we haven't won anything of note) i'm sure we would.
We havent. But people still are. I don't get it. They'd be the first to jump on any TWS or Forest fans if they did this too. It's baffling.
Where you get that from? If we'd won a cup ever in our history we'd bang on about it. There's nowt wrong with being proud of achieveing something. People jump on the Leeds We Are The Champions of Europe cobblers (and rightly so) because it's made up.
I don't know Aggers. There's other things you need to take into contention when you compile all this, ie attendances, league history. But City haven't got much of that either. We're in the premier league on merit, but we're historically a second division club. Our attendances were once great, then off the field problems and a losing side cost us a generation of fans. We're on the revival now, and i hope it picks up.
Google it and then come back with a sensible explanation of why according to your previous posts, Hudders are not as 'big' as Leeds .
What exactly has this got to do with anything, Aggers? Why you talking about Huddersfield v Leeds? That has sod all to to do with it. It's about City in comparison to the other teams. That's the point i'm making.
The big club V small club is just plain silly in my opinion, it's like asking how long is a piece of string. Huddersfield I believe were the first club from Yorkshire to be champions on the first division. Leeds obviously had some good years in the past and Sheffield Wednesday have had their moments but we are the biggest club in Yorkshire right now. Enjoy it while it lasts cos if we get relegated next season and our friends from Elland Rd get promotion that will all change again Big cub small club what does that even mean FFS Grimsby were a much bigger club than us at one point but times change
