After the win over Cologne in a brilliantly organised Europa League match, the draw v Chelsea and a stunning win over Doncaster in the cup it is definitely a good time to be a Wengerite. Arsenal TV are desperate for the wheels to come off against the slick, stylish, tikka tacka football that a Pullis side will bring to the Emirates as no bugger watches when things are going well. Some question why Pullis has never been given a job at one of the top six clubs given his record at Stke, Palace and WBA... others think those asking that question are ****ing lunatics who know as much about football as the pornographers in East London. Pullis will play with a style that will lead to many North London workplaces having a higher than usual number of sick days in the following week due to neck strain Ozil and Sanchez are relishing the chance to impress Pullis in the hope that WBA put in a bid in the January window. In their league matches Arsenal defended badly in their first, better in their second, poorly in the third, like Everton in fourth and very well last time round so this is a no defending weekend so it should be a high scoring match. Arsenal will play a 3 4 2 1 formation whereas WBA will ****ing wellie the ball as hard as possible. Whatever the result Pullis and Wenger will have a sly dig at each other in the post match press conference and everyone will still be wondering how the **** Walcott got a contract of over £120,000 per week. (Watch the mo fo get a hattrick now )
Walcott is not getting anywhere near the first team in this current formation, at the best of times he looks like a headless chicken but watching him trying to figure out where to position himself in this new formation really is a thing of wonder, back to the bench for Walcott.
LOL. "Arsenal will play a 3 4 2 1 formation whereas WBA will ****ing wellie the ball as hard as possible". Sooo true. We need to win this, Have a nice little run of games coming up. Need to rack up some points.
Funny as always and sums up by saying "so a non defending weekend..." We should beat them but you can't tell which Arsenal will pop up. Our biggest problem is consistency at the moment.
Conservative with 3 cms and only two traditional forwards. Sensible given the big name opposition we've got and that we're away from home.
Arsenal: Cech, Koscielny, Mustafi, Monreal, Bellerín, Xhaka, Elneny, Ramsey, Kolasinac, Sanchez, Lacazette. Subs: Ospina, Mertesacker, Wilshere, Ozil, Giroud, Walcott, Maitland-Niles.
WBA should have had a penalty there! We got lucky! This is why I think Kos should be the last man and not Mustafi.
