Leaving aside the obvious capacity limits at WHL, your attendances aren't actually based upon attendance, so it wouldn't be a fair comparison. Notso also said "feels" and it's quite easy to feel alone in a crowd, as I'm sure you're very, very aware.
feel alone? how so? Either our fans are up for it en masse, or they contest what our Manager is doing in groups - so hardly alone? Yes there are differing views but none are alone. Nice try - but wide of the mark.
I read somewhere the otherday that they have around 5,000 season ticket holders who go once a season, presumably they're corporate give aways but that leaves the attendance inflated by roughly 4,750 before you even take anything else into account.
Yeah, I read that, too. It's such a waste, when you consider all of the people that can't afford to go or father's that can't afford to take their kids. It's a sign of the modern game though, unfortunately. You'd think that they'd be able to find someone that'd want to go in their place, wouldn't you?
I'm actually a referee, and I usually cover Sunday matches, including tomorrow. Unfortunately, I'm not covering the North London derby, so no, I won't be there. I have been to many North London derbys, though.
his optimism could be seen as the rantings of a mad man, cos I have no idea what planet he is on when he says certain things.
He doesn't, but he likes to delude himself into thinking that he represents what most fans are thinking. I think Yid Viscious summed Jayram up perfectly on Spurs' 'let's have a giggle thread' : Or maybe HIAG got it right when he said: Seems that even the Spurs boys have seen right through him
