We were absolutely dreadful today imo until he brought on Baston. Bob got everything wrong up until this point. Watford is a must win game.
OMG Bob has been here just over a week and some on here expect him to turn the team into world beaters Talk about fickle fans is an understatement....For the little time he has been here i think for someone who dont have 100% knowledge of the players and the premiership then he has done very well......To play one of the top sides and match them on statistics and only lose by one goal while scoring two ourselves is better than good for his first game.......If anyone thought he would come in and everything would be great after just days of his appointment then they are expecting far too much.......I saw the positives in today's game and i saw what we must work on but after a very short time in charge then Bob did good and we will have no problem getting safe....
We had 11 more passes than Arsenal which is unheard of against the best passers in the premiership.....that is a positive for a start...
How can you expect to get a result at the Emirates, when you start with two donkeys at the back and no striker? Routledge and Ki are also crap, it's going to be a long hard season for Bob!........................ please log in to view this image Knew I'd seen Bob somewhere else before!!!................
Where were the improvements Dai? Had we played Man City or Liverpool on that first 70mins we'd have been stuffed well and truly. Our performance was dreadful for 70mins and was as bad as any this season. Normally when a new manager comes in, you see a response. We need to improve tenfold to beat Watford next week.
Where are the Improvements there were plenty if you look........This was Arsenal we were playing not some other also ran and we matched then on statistics and scored 2 goals and had more passes and only lost by a late goal........I am impressed we did that after only just over a week of Bob being here.....
The statistics look favourable, but anyone who watched the match could see they should have scored at least 6. We got lucky today. Next week is the real test of how we are going to get out of this hole we're in.
Correct. Our first half performance had relegation written all over it, just like Southampton away last season. A piece of opportunism from Gylfi clawed us back into the game before Arsenal regained their two goal advantage. A neat finish from Baston should have been followed up by an equaliser but we were just too wasteful. Starting with Siggy up front must never happen again and Routledge and Taylor combined to make the most sterile left side attack since we arrived in the Premiership. We're in the relegation zone and now have to deal with all the negative pressure that brings. Bob has got his work cut out.
I haven't watched much football yet this season. Been a bit too busy and the start of the season seems to come too quickly after the Euros. On the face of it, 3-2 at the Emirates isn't a total disaster, but I've got this nasty feeling that this season isn't going to end well.
Neil Warnock just got 3 points Result wasn't important today Dai, it was the performance and it was crap for 70mins.
There were improvements v Liverpool and Man City x 2. Today was a thousand steps backwards compared to two weeks ago.
Let's face it, while Sunderland are still in the Prem there's always hope The only solace I can take is that we have had a very tough start.
I like things to stay the same, so I am very relieved to see that Vetch still hasn't mastered the art of replying to someone else's quote
