We are back on Skysports... Playing a big Premier league team... In the Quarter final of a major competition. If you can't get excited about this game the next few years are going to be rather bleak, for you.
Not sure if I am excited or nervous. Be nice to win, not overly bothered if we lose as long as we dont get hammered. Basically give a good account of ourselves , no injuries and no outstanding performance from Dan Neil please. If that is selfish I couldnt give a flying one. I want him here with us for years to come. PS f*ck it lets win and get back to Wembley.
Don't know if you've heard this but the wife was tellng me today about an intensive care Doctor who was saying the majority of their patients with covid are none vaxers but they have no problem being pumped full of drugs in ITU to save they're lives. Never thought of it that way before but find it quite ironic.
Thought Hume might have started, looks bright against Ipswich. Hoffman perhaps has covid if burge is starting?
As big as night as Man u away in the semi final 2nd leg 2013, a hammering though i fear because the way we have started away games this season. As i have said this is not at home so not bothered, but fantastic if we win, and will be at home in the semi and may as well get Chelsea our record is brilliant in the cups against them. 5th round record is 1961-62 Norwich H 1-2. but Blackburn H 3-2 1962-63, Watford a 1-0 1984-85, coventry a 0-5 1989-90, 1988-99 luton H 3-0, 2001-02 C Palace a 1-2, Chelsea H 2013-14 2-1 *.
Hmm, we have our work cut out... they have put out a strong side. Still as I've said nothing to lose... go for it
That’s a strong Arsenal side, let the lads go out and just enjoy themselves, no pressure and have a go. Done well to get this far, really can’t see us doing much damage to that side. Get a taster for these big games and show our young players what can be achieved with hard work.
