I think he likes us besides the Carling isn't worth much to them anyway and they must be tired of the Europa League by now. We just have to make sure we don't drop down into it!!! please log in to view this image
I'm still here. Tonight, we played our young guns, which only goes to show you the lack of interest that Harry has in this competition this year. I rather feel that he wants to fry bigger fish this season, and we've got to be favourites for that 4th spot. I'm not saying I wouldn't have welcomed a win tonight, but I really am not at all disappointed that we lost. It was no mean feat for our young guns to go to one of the hardest grounds in the EPL, and to hold them in both regular and extra time. Well done, lads
It's not an excuse, so much as an explanation, PISKIE. We lost a cup tie away from home to another EPL side. That's life. We move on. If that had been our first XI, I would have been worried. But look who was missing: Friedal, Bale, Walker, Parker, Modric, Adebayor; not to mention the players that we still have out injured. Would you really try to make out that there is any great shame in our losing tonight? I'd still much rather fancy our chances against Wigan at the weekend, than yours against Bolton.
A rather harsh and biased summation of how our season will unfold. You've already lost to United, and you will lose to City. We will beat Blackburn and Everton (our game in hand), which will put us comfortably ahead of you. Anyone who tries to make out that Arsenal is in better shape than Spurs is truly deluded. I'd expect that of LFC fans, but I had credited Gooners with a bit more sense. Frankly, I am a little disappointed.
Back from the game and it was really solid performance i thought. Francis Coquelin impressed me a lot. He won everything and was also very good on the ball. Love the aggression in his play. AOC was also awesome. His passing was of a high standard. Can ping balls right to left with ease. Also scored a lovely goal and kept beating his man and clipping balls into the box. Park was a bit of a let down to be fair and Chamakh has still not found out what a forward is meant to do. Gibbs had one of his better games for a while and also Miquel despite having a lets say 'poor' CB next to him did well also.
To be fair to Hoddle if you read the comment at the start of this thread you would think we had already been relegated.
Spuds are morons with delusions of grandeur. Face it guys, you'll never be the best team in north london, let alone the premiership.
