aj will be back to congratulate the arsenal on their wins, hopefully quite regularly, just like all bran bye bye aj
Good to see the new boys and one 'old' one score Just a shame we had to chew on some nails for a bit at the start. If only we could have bought earlier in the summer. Oops........ I mean what great buys we made in the summer
was crucial to win today to get good feeling back into the club. Hopefully we can win our next 3 games and get some momenteum going.
Haven't seen his goal yet, but anyone who scores from 25 yds has got to have some confidence (and a good shot) Good to see three players getting their first goals, that will add confidence too. And a win for the club will be a massive lift for morale.
It was a comfortable win in the end, but so it should have been, considering that you had the easiest tie of the round. They ran out of steam in the end and your superior fitness made the difference. You won't be able to rely on that against EPL opposition, however.
I've said before, things can change really quickly in football, just as quickly as we've found ourselves in this mire we could equally get a couple of good wins (beating the spuds) and we'd be flying again
The start of this whole mess, I believe was the loss against Birmingham in the Carling Cup final. Hopefully this will signal the start of an upward trend for us.
Samir thanks for splainin' That's all very well but the things we need to do about defensive strategy, match tactics including a Plan B, looking to have players give their best by having them in their correct positions, trying out new approaches like playing RvP in a free role and Theo as a striker. All these and more he has failed to do. Yes it may be part of his stubborn ways but if it costs us as it has, what do we do then? These are issues we still need to address or last Saturday will bear repetition.
