We're playing quite well now. Shame about those 4 goals earlier, we'd be pretty happy with this otherwise.

we seem to play much better with out the pressure, and with nothing to lose.

Its purely because we aren;t sitting so deep, and are having a go. Don't know why our back line was so deep from the start to be honest. Poor tactically if it was Adkins choice.

Lambert is starting to get into the game, we cannot try and play tight against these teams.

Just because there was no time to go forward because our midfield was losing balls very fast

True but it's not just about where you tell your back four to stand. Arsenal outplayed us in midfield, it pushed our defence backwards and cost us four goals. But it's a different game this half so that's something to be encouraged about.

Watching AOC play against Saints is proving to be more painful than I anticipated.

On the bright side, I continue to be impressed with Ward-Prowse.

Apparently Buttner scores a great one for Utd. Good job we didnt need any quality defenders otherwise we could have gone for him....

I think Adkins made a mistake by putting Gaston and Yoshida on the bench.

Clyne lets Ramsey through to hit the post, tap in for Gervinho. Thoroughly undeserved goal, but very poor defending..

Annoying that. We have definantly been the better side this half but oh well. Some positives to come from this game though thats for sure. Fair play to this Arsenal side though. They will do well this year.

We DID go for him , we nearly had him , Manu got involved and they now have him .

Do you honestly think we can compete with manu when it comes to the Transfer market ?

Obviously terrible first half, but if it weren't for two own goals and a free kick we could have been heading in all square.

Whats disappointed me most is the fact that we just sat back the entire half. If there is one thing we (should have) learned from United and City, is that we looked a vastly better team when high-up the pitch and pressing the other team, when we sit back and let them have the ball and get stuck on the edge of our own box we look like a League One side.

Adkins tried to encourage the team to push up, but we just looked intimidated and don't think we were prepared at all well.

And for all the good work Puncheon did a couple weeks ago he has been dreadful today. Would rather have seen him off for Ramirez than Davis.

Aaaaaaand 5-1. Time to look ahead to next week I suppose! Hopefully we don't ship any more goals and make it incredibly embarassing.
