The retarded pratt probably cannot work out the difference between £150m and one billion. To a retard they are all the same.
Apparently if you sell your 3 year old Merc for £3k and buy a 5 year old Micra for £2k you have made a £1k profit and got your Micra for free
I see my post went right over your head Sky. When I said tweaking, I was referring to his previous "13 years of always inheriting one of the best sides in the league". All he had to do was tweak his squads at Porto, Chelsea, Inter and Real - they were already full of talent and challenging for / winning big things before he arrived. At Utd he inherited a squad in a mess, hence he has to do a full rebuilding job which, imo, he is not currently excelling at. Hence "he actually needs to build a top quality squad instead of tweaking the one he was bequeathed". Unless you are seriously claiming he inherited a top quality squad from LVG?
I think there are some very good players he inherited that he's not had playing at their potential. Some really good performances but it's often been turgid even when you've won. Then again he's also got some players playing above themselves like Young.
Aye, I wouldn't argue that he has inherited a decent squad, with some good players in. And as I said above, I don't think he has excelled in his management of that squad to date. But I would still argue that this is amongst the weakest squads he has ever inherited since first joining Porto in 2004, particularly when considering the current strength of the league, so it is quite a new situation for him in terms of being fully competitive from the odd.
Just an excuse mate. At the start of the season Utd were many people's favourites to win the title with that squad... Now a few months on you need a major rebuild?
Whose?!? Can't remember many credible pundits putting us ahead of City, and most had us around the level of Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea. Maybe Dion Dublin took some time out of house hunting to give us a punt, but that was about as good as it got. A few more pundits may have climbed on board after we signed Zlatan and Pogba, but I'm talking about the squad he inherited, not the players he signed. And as Watford and I have both pointed out, he has thus far failed to take the squad he inherited to a much higher level with those signings, with as many players underperforming as have outperformed under him.
