I think the opening day is a great day for arsenal away.. if we are ready.. If we could win and then go and do over burnely then the thing is set up nicely for the spurs, leicester, cheslea games... a lot less pressure.

If we are unbeaten in these first set of league games.

 

I was going to say that winning the season opener has usually boded well for us and seen a good end of season table position ... but then I checked last season and we won both our first games so now I don't know.

I'm expecting great things this season and an away win @ Arsenal would be a good start.

If I recall correctly we won both but looked terrible doing so and looked by far the weaker team.

Perhaps a better metric would be if we are the dominant team.

 

I hope his eyesight recovers.
