Marsch has the same players that Bielsa had, but Bielsa formed a team that played out of their skins. Marsch doesn't appear to know how to form a team - he just chooses some players & they play to their pre-Bielsa talent level.
Everton once again ahead, but i am now resigned that the worst three, Norwich, Watford and us will now be relegated and deservedly so, Aylings reckless chalenge inexcusable, Raphina will be going if marsche does not substitute him, just when we needed a backs to the wall performance, and players to be counted.Not sure if this lot's up to the challenge of championship football either, things could get very tough from now on.
Whether marsch is clueless or not- this game was decided by a clown of an error by the goalkeeper, putting them on the front foot and then individual stupid decisions. Not exactly the ideal foundations for a good team performance. This one’s on the players.
A week or two back I said I think the only teams worse than us are Norwich and Watford. We’re not getting a point from our last three. I just hope Radz and company can see what a huge mistake it was appointing Jesse. Forget inheriting this group of players, they were good enough to finish mid table last season We have no shape, players look around like they haven’t a clue. The rope has been found after the red card in the main game now the noose is being tied. you just know they will score again. someone slowly somewhere likes to rub our noses in the grit and then like to grind it in a little bit more.
I'm beginning to think that if Marsch stays, we're going to have a repeat of this next season - in the Championship. To win anything, you need a team. Marsch has players. Players that clearly either don't know what he wants them to do, or simply incapable of doing what he wants them to do.
