I'm amazed Wenger hasn't been sacked before now, or at least 'moved upstairs'. His defenders keep pointing out that he 'revolutionised English football'. He did, yes. Seventeen-years ago. And by ten-years ago every other club in the country had adopted his continental approach to running a club, and several - Chelsea, Man City, Man United, etc - have moved ahead of them. They have about as much chance of winning the league again under Wenger as I do of becoming Queen of England. His signings are mostly poor and the game has gone through three or four major 'tactical shifts' (for want of a better phrase) since they were last champions. Surely he can't keep the wolf from the door forever, just by qualifying for the Champions' League? Surely there comes a point when somebody says, "Er, hang on. Why exactly is it that we're trying to qualify for this tournament in the first place?". FFS Arsenal, get rid of the ****.
Arsenal are run as a business not some rich mans plaything, since 1996 they have made a profit in every season except 2001/2002. I would think the owners are very happy. As for the fans what more do they want ? each season in the top four and champions league football is not too bad, is winning a trophy so important ? http://abehnisch.com/arsenal-profit-since-1996/
Did you end up lumping on us for relegation? http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/277839-O-t-our-early-season-form?p=7103220&viewfull=1#post7103220
If they ever fell on hard times I would have no sympathy for them at all because of their fans actions even now looking on Twitter there's some random idiot abusing Huddlestone
He's a good representative of their scummy fans to be honest, think they are better than what they are, they are no Bayern/Real/Barca at the end of the day, not even the biggest team in London anymore
Noticed some earlier poster stated in the second half we were 'looking 'leggy' after midweek'. I know Livermore puts himself about a bit, but with 15 minutes to go he looked very leggy. Makes me wonder if he's fit enough for this level?
I saw that but Huddlestone will be loving it, he will give as good as he got. Getting the Arsenal fan wound up is his favourite pass time.
All teams do it, at the end of the day there was 6 minutes added so it wasted no time. However what is does do it break up the flow of the game, and that is why players do it if the situation is needed.
personally I hope they keep hold of the arrogant french bastard. getting a point at emirates? not an easy task, last the we want is for the Arse to get rid and we end up with nil points.
