So after Corbyn's reds rocked Brighton this week it is now Wenger's reds turn. Brighton got a vital win last time out against toon while Arsenal are in decent form which is killing Arsenal TV as happy clappy Ty is a serial bore! A little known fact about Brighton's manager Chris Hughton is that on Easter Monday 1983 scored 2 outstanding goals in a tottenham 5 nil win ..... ....over Arsenal And I was there All the smart money is one a good to watch match which will result in a comfortable arsenal win. There are several reasons I would like to see Brighton win... 1) Brighton was the first place I ever went on holiday with my partner back in 1996. 2) It was where we took our eldest daughter on her first holiday when she was 9 months old. 3) It was the place we took our youngest daughter on her first holiday. 4) My daughter goes to Brighton University and lives there. 5) I once took a photo of Brighton from plane when coming to Gatwick If you enlarge it you can see the pier, the football ground, the ****ed up pier and one big mo fo bonfire! Oh and most importantly... 6) I got a bet on with piskie about who finishes higher out us so a Brighton win would be helpful! And finally... 7) I fecking hate you lot I remember watching Quadrophenia years ago which ends with a geezer riding his scooter off a cliff near brighton ... something Mr Blood Fam Bruv may re-enact if it all goes pete tong. Finally...can someone explain how Bright and Crystal Palace are such bitter enermies...seriously...WT actual F.
I grew up just outside Brighton. It's actually a great town. But I still hope Arsenal smash the **** out of them.
Yep Brighton is great. I lived there for a while and I've got lots of friends and family who still do. Would have been nice if @remembercolinlee had put a bit of effort into making a decent thread about it instead of posting his holiday snaps and thinking he could get away with it.
What a **** kick off time, **** BT, the ****s. Good thing we rested all our best players on Thursday.
Also looks like Ozil might be the next dodgy 'injury' saga. He is now randomly out for this game after making the bench for the previous two league games, with him not signing a new contract, maybe Wenger is showing some balls for once, Ozil has no future at Arsenal, so playing Ramsey in that advanced role might be better for the long term.
Kind of agree with you. Wanna see Wilshere get some time too in an attacking role too as he's been looking good.
Another interesting, but little known fact about Hughton was that I knocked him on his arse in 1983. He clip-clopped into the old spurs shop wearing studded boots. I bumped him and he went skidding onto his arse. We beat them at the lane 2-4 that year. I like to think I played my part.
